Do you know what it’s like to lose everything? I do.
Eight years ago, Jessa Lynn Madison and the title ‘Best Snowboarder in the US’ were both mine.
And then she betrayed me and the mountain had followed suit.
No matter how much I drank, the truth was hard to swallow when it meant choking on my pride.
And no matter how much I screwed, the truth was that I still wanted her.
Anger. Rage. They don’t even begin to describe how I feel.
I was never going to be able to compete again, but life had given me the perfect opportunity to have Jessa.
And to break her.
Misery loves company. And Jessa was about to be my company.

Jessa
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐥 (𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝟎): 𝐀 𝐬𝐲𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬.
All I wanted was a fresh start in the town I once called home.
Too bad home was littered with memories of him. Chance Ryder.
The man I’d loved. The man I’d left.
The man who was now my patient. And my roommate.
I know he wants to use me. I know he wants to hurt me.
But I also know that I can’t stop myself from wanting him.
And wanting him has always been my downfall.
Now all I can think about is how to tell him the truth and beg his forgiveness.
I, of all people, should know that explanations and apologies won’t matter.
When it comes to Chance Ryder, he’ll hold onto his pride
like he should be holding onto me.

Enjoy the Ride is the third standalone in the Winter Games series.

About Rebecca Sharp:

Rebecca Sharp is a dentist and International Best-Selling author living in a small town in northeastern Pennsylvania with her husband, the love of her life. After graduating Cum Laude from Lafayette College in 2011 with two degrees (one in Business & Economics and one in French), she pursued her doctoral degree at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Graduating in 2015, she has since been working in her family’s dental practice that has serving the local community for over 60 years.

While she enjoys the practical and challenging academic aspects of her career and the fulfillment of providing care to her patients, Rebecca desired to pursue something more creative in her free time. Starting with her love of Jane Austen, she began writing. While she enjoys all types of books, romance novels have always held a special place in her heart. (True story: She listed a Sabrina Jeffries novel on her 8th grade summer reading list. Much to her surprise, the teacher didn’t even notice!) She has currently published numerous contemporary romance titles.

When she isn’t taking care of her patients or writing/publishing her next book, Rebecca loves to read, cook, draw, and snowboard. She has a small addiction to coffee and the TV show ‘Friends.’ She and her husband are avid travelers, determined to visit every corner of this beautiful planet!

 Interview With Rebecca Sharp:

1. Can you tell us a little about your books?

The best way I like to start this answer is that I write what I love to read! My favorite romance reads are the ones involving bad boys… the ones that you love to hate and hate that you love. I don’t know what it is that draws me to them but I love the tension and the angst and the redemption that always happens at the end, if only in a small way. That being said, sometimes I do enjoy a story about a swoony, perfect hero so there’s a handful of those in my books as well! As far as heroines go, I like strong females. Sometimes, those females could be strong in opinions or feelings that the rest of us might not agree with, but the fact that they stand by what they want is important to me.

2. What inspires you to write?

Anything and everything! I began writing with fan fiction stories because I wasn’t sure I was going to be any good or that anyone would want to read it. Once I started though, everything became inspiration. My friends. Conversation with patients. Traveling and the places I’ve been, the people we’ve met. I’m always thinking ‘how can I use this?’

3. How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?

Since 2016, I’ve written 15 and published 10! Picking a favorite is like picking a favorite child. It depends on the day and my mood which is my favorite at the time and, like now, when I’m so close to release, I’d have to say that my upcoming release, Enjoy the Ride, is my current favorite!

4. If you could be friends with one of your character, which one would you chose?

Oh that is tough. I’d love to be friends with all the women of the Snowmass crew. Channing because she is super fierce and daring and goes after what she wants. Ally and Jessa and Tammy… They are all super strong especially for putting up with the SnowmassHoles like they do and keeping those men in line. And Jac… because she is bad-effing-ass. But no one knows who Jac is yet so I shouldn’t be saying anything ;)

5. Do you have a favorite spot to write?

At home, I have a writing desk and a super comfy chair that I love to write it. I also love writing while I’m traveling. Not just on the place but in new places because traveling really pushes your body and your mind and opens up new paths of creativity that I might not have found otherwise.

6. Do you have a special time to write or how is your day structured?

LOL! I wish I had a special time to write. I wish I was home all day but I’m a full-time dentist and I own two offices so, I write at night. Sometimes, I’ll wake up and write at 4AM. Or sometimes I’ll try to squeeze in words between patients. Honestly, even my free weekends (Sometimes I work in my office on Saturdays…) I’ll try to dedicate at least one day of it to writing. It’s hard. It’s a lot of sacrifice and time management. As important as it is to get in writing time, it’s probably even more important for me to stop and take the breaks that I get anxiety taking to spend time with my husband and my friends because they are my inspiration and my support system.

7. If you had a superpower, what would it be?

Stop time. Or just create more time. It seems like there is never enough time in the day for me to do what I want to do! Or maybe just to be able to pay off all my student loans…

8.  Do you have a release day tradition?

Drink lots of wine and try not to freak out. ;)

9. What writing projects are you currently working on?

I just finished up a whole bunch of things… like all my releases for next year. So, I’m just starting to outline and plan a pretty big series that will be coming in 2020 that I’m super excited for!
