Magnificent Bastard: A Sexy Flirty Dirty Standalone by Lili Valente
#NEWrelease #SexyRomCom #WhoNeedsPrinceCharmingWhenYouCanHaveAMagnificentBastard

F*ck Prince Charming. Sometimes, you need a Magnificent Bastard.
Face it, ladies: love sucks and then you cry…while your ex rides off into the sunset banging your best friend.

But why let a break-up end in tears when it can end with sweet revenge? Enter Magnificent Bastard Consulting and me, chief executive bastard. I’ve got it all—looks, brains, a heart of gold, and the killer instinct guaran-damn-teed to make your ex regret the day he said goodbye.

With the help of my virtual assistant, I’ve built an empire giving broken-hearted women the vengeance they deserve, while keeping myself far from the front lines of the heart. Life is a bowl of cherries, until my
virtual assistant shows up on my real doorstep for the first time, begging for a Magnificent Bastard intervention of her own.

Damn… She’s a bona fide sex kitten.
I pride myself on being a true pro, but pretending to be her lover soon leads to giving it to her good, hard, fast, and up against the wall. And somewhere between getting balls deep in my sweet and sexy assistant and watching her ex beg for a second chance, I break every last one of my damn rules—professional and personal.

So what’s my next move? Fight for the girl who makes me want to get up on a white horse and ride to her rescue, or stay a Magnificent Bastard to the end?

Warning: MAGNIFICENT BASTARD is a stand-alone erotic romance told from the hero’s point of view. No cliffhanger. Lots of dirty talk.

Interview  With Lili Valente:
  1. Can you tell us a little about your books?

Up until two days ago my books were almost exclusively dark, sexy serials featuring Dominant alpha males. My latest release, MAGNIFICENT BASTARD, is my first full-length novel and first sexy, flirty, dirty romantic comedy. I think it’s one of the most purely fun, romantic, yet still super hot things I’ve ever written. I really hope my readers enjoy it because I would love to write more comedy. I love exploring both the light and dark sides of the fairy tale.

  1. For someone who hasn't read any of your books yet, which one would you suggest they read first?

I’d suggest starting with Dark Domination, the first in the Bought by the Billionaire series. It’s free on all platforms and will give you a good taste of just how twisty, hot, and dark my serials tend to get.

But if you’re not a fan of dark romance, go straight to Magnificent Bastard and soak in the sexy fun. If I had the ability to offer a “laugh and fall in love or your money back” guarantee I would. I’m that confident people are going to enjoy this book!

  1. When did you know you wanted to write a book?

I started my first romance manuscript in second grade. My student teacher was reading the chapters for me and giving encouragement. And then I got to the first kissing scene and my parents were called in for a meeting with the principal, teacher, and student teacher. LOL! I was a precocious kid, what can I say?

I finished my first complete manuscript at twenty-three and my third complete manuscript was published when I was twenty-five. Thirteen years later, I’m still writing, though I’ve gone from writing erotic romance under one pen name, to writing for children under another pen name, and now back to writing erotic romance as Lili. I’ve come full circle.

  1. Do you work with an outline, or just write?

When I first starting writing professionally, I wrote screenplays and used the three-act structure to plot my stories ahead of time. It’s a habit that’s stuck with me. I like to plot things out—at least roughly—before I begin.

  1. Do you have a favorite spot to write?

The world’s most perfect Costco chair (it’s almost like a fainting couch) and my treadmill desk are tied for favorite at the moment. Sometimes I also enjoy proofing on my bathtub desk. My entire house is my office .

  1. Do you have a favorite food or drink you must have nearby when writing?

Coffee, water, and tea are all in regular rotation. Lately there might have also been a few too many cookies. The build up to release week makes me crave sugar!

  1. Do you listen to music while you write?

Rarely I will, if I’m deep into an emotional scene and want to play something on repeat over and over again until I’m really in the zone. Usually I write to white noise piped in through my headphones to help drown out the sounds of my two very active and very loud little boys.

8.  What are writing projects are you currently working on?

I’m working on a SUPER naughty serial set in New York City featuring the most damaged, twisted, irresistible alpha billionaire ever and I’m also working on another romantic comedy at the same time. Like I said, I love the light and the dark. I like to explore the things that make us laugh and cry along the way to falling in love.

Those are the mysteries that keep me glued to my keyboard.
