Synopsis:

Animal is a great story.  Ava fears vampires and moves around a lot.  Her cousin Toni moves with her.  This time when she moves Toni stays behind for a little bit.  Ava moves to New York and takes a job at a pet store.  Ava not only fears vampires but she has anxiety too.  Her fear of vampires turns out to be valid.   Evan and Michael are vampires.  She meets them at the pet store.   When there paths cross, everything changes for Ava.

Ava is a strong character.  She is put through a lot but seems to pull through it all.  I really likes Evan.  He had a duty to Michael but was still as protective as he could be to Ava.  With Michael, I wasn't sure whether to like him or hate him.  At some parts I really didn't like him and in other parts I liked him.  Michael is a complex guy.

I was hooked right from the beginning with this story.   There's no cliffhanger but I really enjoyed these characters and wouldn't mind reading more about them.
