OCEANS APART (Book #1 in the Ocean Dreams series)

Nobody ever cares about second place.
Nashville native, Annie Scott, knows second place well. She has never been anyone’s priority and is sick of being an option. In a snap decision, she flees her hometown
for the unknown shores of Sydney, Australia; hoping the enforced solitude will give her back her identity and kick-start a new life.
Fate throws her in the path of Cam Hart. The Professional surfer is wallowing in self-pity after his recent embarrassing loss. The idea of losing himself in-between the sheets for some no-strings fun definitely has appeal and Cam believes he has found the perfect girl to distract him.
The two drifting souls soon discover their chemistry and passion is more than they bargained for. When fate throws Annie and Cam together, both afraid and uncertain, will they allow themselves to be swept along in the tide of possibility?

Interview With Emma Fitzgerald:
  1. Can you tell us a little about your books?
I write contemporary romance that will hopefully always leave a smile on your face. I love a story with a HEA.
  2. What inspires you to write?
Life. Stories from people (both strangers and friends) and everyday happenings. Also the thought of being able to give someone else some enjoyment from the worlds I create.
  3. Do you have a favorite spot to write?
Not in particular. As long as I am comfortable and have coffee close by, I can write anywhere.
  4. Do you have any “odd” writing habits?
I have to wear my hair pulled back off my face or it will annoy me too much.
  5. Do you listen to music while you write? What are writing projects are you currently working on?
Sometimes but a lot of the time I enjoy watching sports, and it is usually surfing.
  6. What are writing projects are you currently working on?
I am currently trying to meet my deadline for a standalone book I am writing called 'Lost in Lavender'. LIL will be due to release in late May or early June. Then I will continue the next two books in my 'Ocean Dreams' series. At least one will be published this year.

  7. What book did you enjoy writing the most and why?
I have a few short stories I have written which I truly love (but haven't published) but I truly enjoyed writing my first book (Oceans Apart) as it was a huge learning journey, both professionally and personally.
     8.    What's the last book you read?
The last book I read was 'Dragonfly in Amber' by Diana Gabaldon. It is Book #2 in the Outlander series. (I just love Jamie! Can't beat a Hot Scot!)

     9.   What's one random fact about yourself that you can share?
I was a swimmer as a teen and I really wanted to compete in the Atlanta Olympics in 1996 but couldn't try out due to injury.
