Beyond The Blueprint

Logan

The boss’s daughter. The untouchable. The unbeatable. That’s what everyone thinks of me.

When a new business deal presents itself, my father jumps at the chance to win the bid, and I’m thrown into an unexpected competition with one of my co-workers. From the start, something felt off about the arrangement, and I know exactly why when I come face-to-face with my past.

Growing up, Chris was my constant, the main piece to my puzzle. With him, I felt safe, adored, and loved. He was my best friend, and I let him go.

Now he’s back, with more than just a business deal in mind. He expects me to pick up where we left off, but I don’t know if I can because that would lead to me telling him that I’m in love with my best friend.

Christoph

I’ve learned a lot over the years, the most important being, there is no substitute great enough for me to forget Logan.

Best friends - Always, even when we were apart.
Lovers - Never, but when I was with her, I felt complete.
She was my apple, ripe, shiny, forbidden, but I wanted her.

That was four years ago, and the only thing that’s changed is time and distance.
The only thing standing between us is her.

Will Logan be able to handle the demands of being a high-powered architect while evading her feelings for Chris? Or will she crumble under the pressure and fall completely for her best friend?

Interview With Angela:

1. Can you tell us a little about your books?

I write Contemporary & New Adult Romance. I’ve written insta-love, friends-to-lovers, second chance, & developmental romance. Most of my characters thus far have had some sort of heartbreak and are reluctant to let love in, but underneath it all, they’re strong. They have a support system, whether it be family or friends. On a steam scale of 1-5, my books range from 1-3 depending on the type of story and my purpose for writing it.

2. What inspires you to write?

From the start, my family has been my biggest inspiration. They still are, but the support I’ve received from the book community since beginning my writing career is also super inspiring.

3. Do you work with an outline, or just write?

I’ve made an outline for each book that I’ve written, except for one novella that I’ve recently written. While writing that novella without guidance was fun, I don’t think that I’d do it again. I’m an outline kind of girl. It helps, even if it changes a little along the way.

4. How do you come up with your characters' names?

Oddly enough, the premise of the story always comes to me first. Then, I pick names that fit the characters.

5. If you could be friends with one of your characters, which one would you chose?

This is a hard one, but if I had the choice, I would probably choose Josie from Love In Motion. She’s mellow, level headed, not too out there, and her idea of fun is a night in. I think she’d be a really great friend.

6. Do you have a release day tradition?

No, I don’t but maybe I should start one.

7. If you had a superpower, what would it be?

Photographic memory.

8. What writing projects are you currently working on?

I’m currently working on two projects because the second just won’t leave me alone. Project one is the second standalone book in my Motion Series, following Love In Motion, Owen’s story. Project two dives a little deeper and is a little darker. They’ll both make for some interesting reads when completed.

Also, I’ve just released Beyond The Blueprint, which is a friends to lovers second chance romance, available now on Amazon & KU. And I have a novella titled Devlin that’s included in Our Christmas Nook II, releasing on November 5th.
