Welcome Today's Featured Author
Payne De la Cour!!

Max and Pres (Bound in Silk Book 2)

Sometimes, the things you don't want might be exactly what you need.

Pres has been watching Max, Bound in Silk’s bartender, for a while, but he hasn’t really figured out how to approach the sub. He wants to put Max on his knees, see all those muscles rippling, the large man submitting to him... but he has to get Max to play with him first.

Max knows there’s no man who can give him what he wants. Or, at least, he is convinced he won’t find one. Until Pres asks him to play. He’s reluctant, but who wouldn’t be, given his history with Doms?
When Max lets Pres take over, he might discover there is someone who can deal with his needs... and embrace them. But is it enough for a future together?

Interview With Payne De la Cour:

1. Can you tell us a little about your book?
Bound is Silk is a BDSM club, run by Jason, who finds his very own sub in book one of the series. Max, a sub who doesn't like submission, finds his partner and Dom in book two... if they can manage to work through their issues. They have a connection, but Max has been burned before. He needs a Dom who can handle him and he's not sure he can trust Pres to be the one.

2. What inspires you to write?
Everything. People I meet, things I read, movies I watch. Basically everything can be made in a book :)

3. If you ever experience a case of writer’s block, how do you cure it?
Read, take a step back and switch to a different story.

4. Do you have a special time to write or how is your day structured?
I usually write in the mornings and in the evenings, when my kids are not at home. I have flexible day job hours so I try to get some writing time in before and after work.

5. Do you have a favorite food or drink you must have nearby when writing?
Coffee!!! And chocolate. Basically, I eat a lot when working, and I'm not too picky. But coffee is a must.

6.  Do you have a favorite spot to write?
Actually, I work at my desk (pretty boring, I know)

7.What are some of your favorite pastimes?
Reading, of course, and looking through tumblr *cough* (all research, of course!). Annoying my husband is also high on the list

8. What are writing projects are you currently working on?
Bound in Silk 3 and a co-writing project with the amazing R. Phoenix!
