Interview With Molly E. Lee:
  1. Can you tell us a little about your books?
My Love on the Edge series is adventure romance focused on couples finding love and maintaining it while in high stake professions. I’ve got storm chasers, treasure hunters, deep sea divers, and my latest is an extreme stuntman. I love pushing boundaries with passion by adding life or death scenarios into the mix as well as taking readers on what I hope is a thrill-ride with a side of steam J
  1. What is your newest release?
My newest release is EDGE OF REGRET and it is a second chance romance between a stuntman and his first love who happens to be a bomb tech in the Airforce. It’s a standalone novel in the Love on the Edge series which focuses on Wade Roberts—a character you meet in Edge of Brotherhood.
  1. For a reader who hasn't read your books yet, which book do you suggest they start with?
I would recommend reading Edge of Chaos first. Though most of my books are standalones, Chaos is the first book in the series and will set the tone for the rest of the adventures!
  1. If you ever experience a case of writer’s block, how do you cure it?
Music! And reading—whether it’s in the genre I’m trying to write or not. Reading an incredible book is perfect for writer’s block, in my case anyway. I love falling into stories and being inspired by the amazing talent that is out there!
  1. Do you work with an outline, or just write?
Sometimes a story will come to me so fast and intense that I simply have to write it out and see where it takes me. Then I also have books that demand an outline before I even attempt to write the first chapter. It really depends on how much the characters are demanding to be heard—some shout at me, others need to be coaxed a bit J
  1. What book did you enjoy writing the most and why?
This is such an impossible question! J I adore each of my books for different reasons, but I suppose I would say the latest, EDGE OF REGRET, is one I enjoyed writing because it’s so close to my heart. It deals with love in the military, and PTSD, and being a military spouse myself, the topics and themes in this book are super close to my heart.
  1. If you could spend 24 hours as a fictional character, who would you chose?
That is a hard question as well! I would have to say (since I just devoured the series and already want to re-read it) it would be Feyre from the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas. Naturally, I’d want to live a day from the later part of the second book, A Court of Mist and Fury. Those who have read the series will know why, lol.
Of course I also wouldn’t mind being Hermione from the Harry Potter series, either (which is one of my all time favorites)
  1. Are you attending any Author Signing Event this year?
For 2017 my next signing is in Manchester, UK for the Four Brits Book Fest! I’m super excited to be a part of that one! And then my first one in 2018 will be in Dallas for Holiday’s With the Belles which I’m also thrilled about because the Belles know how to party J
  1. What are you working on next?
I have three young adult contemporary novels releasing this year with Entangled, the first one—Love in the Friendzone—releases next month! They focus on an epic high school graduation party. One party, three books, endless ways to fall in love. So, I’m super excited to be working on that! I’m also currently working on the next standalone novel in the Love on the Edge series which I plan to release in the early fall.
