Interview With N.N. Britt:

   1.     Can you tell us a little about your books?

Outside writing I’m a photographer and a music aficionado. I’ve been privileged to see plenty of live shows and work with amazing musicians. My books either revolve around music scene or about people making music.

    2.     What inspires you to write?

Music and things that happen in real life. My latest book, Severance, is about survivors of a mass shooting and its effects on lives.

    3.     How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?

I published two. I have four more written that I am editing at the moment. I also have more ideas, outlines, and drafts. I will get to those eventually.

    4.     Do you have a special time to write or how is your day structured?

I like to write for several days in a row when I’m not working. I usually dedicate my weekends to that. Get up in the morning, make coffee, and get to it.

    5.     How do you come up with your characters names?

I use Google, ha.

   6.     Do you have a release day tradition?

Not really.

    7.     If you had a superpower, what would it be?

I never thought about it, but I think maybe heal people.

   8.     What writing projects are you currently working on?

My 4 books series about a group of friends from Los Angeles who form a heavy metal band. It’s a very dark read. I want to explore the following themes: fame, addiction, mental illness, artistic crisis. I’ve been working on it for a while. A lot of it is based on my own experiences of working in the industry.
