Synopsis:
Jada McLean is about to get married in nine days, when she walks in on her fiancĂ© in a little more than a compromising position. Days later, she’s on a trip that she intends to be relaxing and a prelude to her fresh start, when she runs into the rude, obnoxious, but gorgeous Jonathan Kole.

Jonathan Kole is San Francisco’s newest District Attorney. When he finds himself deeply attracted to a stunning beauty, he has no idea that she’s about to get into BIG trouble with the law—and he’ll be the one presiding over her trial. To make matters worse, his father is the lawyer representing her in the high-profile case.

When a series of events force them together over New Year’s weekend, Jonathan’s feelings and ethics will come into question, while Jada comes to terms with the fact that she is falling for the man that will be responsible for attempting to put her behind bars… Little do they know, they're both about to fall into a whirlwind so deep, it will send both their lives spiraling out of control.

REVIEW:
Holy freaking ball of emotions!! I really don't even know where to start. I thought going into it, it was going to be a forbidden love type of book and that was it. However, I was seriously proved wrong! This book and all the characters in this book took me up and down and inside out many times. I was laughing at one point then crying the next. There were many points where I wanted to scream and throw my device access the room. I absolutely love Jada and Jonathon. Jada is that feisty, independent, and very stubborn woman we all want to be. Then, Jonathon is the hot and sexy, arrogant, cocky alpha male that we all want to just sink our teeth into. No pun intended. Jonathon and Jada are the perfect match except for the fact that he is the DA and she is a murder suspect. This is a story with the perfect amount of suspense and a perfect amount of hot and sweaty sex and the perfect amount of romance. I truly felt like I was on an emotional rollercoaster. I am not going to give anything away, but I will tell you to have your tissues ready and there is no cliffy. This book deserves more than 5 AMAZEBALLS stars, but it is all I can give it. I strongly recommend this book to everyone!! This is a MUST READ!!!
