Review by Gia:
I loved Permanent!!  This is book one in the Indelibly Marked series.   Even though it's book one it does not have a cliffhanger.  I checked on the author's webpage, and it says that "Each book is stand-alone with no cliff hangers and their own couple."  Permanent is Shane and Lindsay's story.
Shane meets Lindsay when she moves in next door and falls.  Shane thinks she is a little old lady with a bunch of cats until he meets Lindsay.  Lindsay is an accountant.  Shane is a tattoo artist and is having IRS trouble.   Shane and his friends are really bad at financial record keeping.  They all need Lindsay's help.
Lindsay has been used in the past.  She boxes things up and moves on.  She isn't sure whether Shane really likes her or if he is uses her for her accountant skills.  While reading I wasn't sure either on what Shane's intentions with Lindsay were.   Shane and Lindsay have a great story and it's worth reading.
I really liked the Elliott siblings dynamic.  I don't know quite what to make of Dillon.  I hope he eventually gets his own book.
