Interview With Ember-Raine Winters:
1. Can you tell us a little about your books?
My books range from Romantic Suspense to PNR to Romantic Comedy. I
have 10 full length novels currently in print and have been a part of
5 anthologies over the last year.
2. What inspires you to write?
Everything inspires me. Music people and my own life experiences
inspire me to write,
3. How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?
I have 10 full length novels 3 novellas and have written in 5
anthologies over the last year and a half. My favorite? That’s like
asking me to pick my favorite child. LOL! I guess if I had to pick, I
would say DJ Hot Pants is my favorite. I love clumsy Courtney and all
the antics she gets up to.
4. Do you have a special time to write or how is your day structured?
I try to write 3,000 words a day. I have actually had to limit myself
so that I don’t write more than that. Sometimes I get lost in the
writing and get nothing else done during the day.
5. Do you have a favorite spot to write?
There is a chair on my back patio that I love to sit in and write.
It’s quiet and there are few distractions.
6. For someone who hasn't read any of you books yet, which one
would you suggest they read first?
It all depends on what the person likes to read. I write in a few
different sub-genres. If they like Romantic Suspense I suggest
Beautiful Delusions but if they are more into Romantic Comedy I
suggest There’s Something About Vegas. It’s a light fun read about
waking up in Vegas married to a stranger.
7. Where is one place you want to visit that you haven't been before?
Ireland for sure! I have always wanted to take a trip to Ireland.
8. What are writing projects are you currently working on?
I’m currently working on a couple things. I have a co-write with a
good friend of mine doing a dark twisty romance. I’m working on a
serial called Doin’ It Rock Hard. There are a bunch of great authors
writing in that. I am also starting a brand new series that’s a spin
off from my Las Vegas Nights series that I just finished writing and
comes out in July.
