Excerpts:

#1

“What was your name again?” She turned to me. She had lost her shorts and only wore a thin t-shirt.
I handed her the water bottle and tried not to stare at her legs.
“Cody Travis.” She uncapped the bottle as she crawled into bed.
The shirt rode up, giving me a stellar view of her tight round ass.
I stifled a groan, but my cock twitched.
She wasn’t wearing anything underneath. She flipped onto her front and covered herself with the blanket. In covering herself, she managed to snake the blanket between her legs. My mind really wanted to see what she was hiding under that blanket.
She held the blanket just under her chin. Her bare legs visible on each side.
“You can lie down with me, if you want,” she said, her eyes staring into mine.
My eyes grew wide, which for some reason gave Briann an invitation to drop the blanket and crawl back to the end of the bed and run her hands up underneath my shirt.
“Whoa, what are you doing?” I pushed her hand away.
“You really are adorable.” She rustled my hair like you’d do to a ten-year-old. “Come cuddle with me.”
I stepped away from the bed.
She sat down on her knees with the sexiest pout on her lips.
“I’d like to, but I can’t.” It was the only explanation I could think of at the moment, and it wasn’t a good one. No explanation was good enough. My cock reminded me as it pushed on my zipper.
“Of course, you can,” she said as she spread her legs.
Thank God, the t-shirt covered her, or my self-control would have melted.
I was two seconds away from forgetting how my mother raised me and jumping her.
“I would really love to, but I think it’s safer if I go,” I said.
She blinked her eyes and bit her lip.
Oh, fuck if she wasn’t making this hard.
Pun intended.

#2
I stood in the same spot, stunned, shocked.
Guilty as fuck.
She scooted past me, ran down the stairs, jumped in her car and sped off.
I should have gone after her and made sure she was okay. I froze after seeing the devastation in her normally bright brown eyes. I should have said something. Instead, I stumbled to the couch and collapsed like a pussy.
Twenty minutes later, I hadn’t moved.

#3
“I’ll tell you what I see.” I stepped closer. She smelled like coconut. I inhaled. “You’re so beautiful and so fucking sexy. I could stare in your eyes all day.”
She shook her head again. I placed a hand on the side of her head to keep her from shaking it.
She leaned into my hand.
“You’re smart, and you make me laugh.” I ran my hand down her cheek and caught a tear as it fell. “You’re everything, Bri. I knew it the moment I met you.”
“You just want to fuck me, too.” She grabbed my hand and pulled it away from her face, but she held on to it.
“Well, yeah, I do.”
She dropped my hand and stepped back a few steps with a frown.
I stepped inside and shut the door behind me.
I held my hand up.
“But I want to be the only one fucking you.” I took a step, and she stepped back. “And it’s not the only thing I want to do with you.”
“Cody.”
I groaned. My name on her lips sounds so sweet.
“I want to be with you. I want you to be my girl. I want to tell you every day that you’re amazing, sexy, and beautiful, so you’ll stop believing you’re anything but.”
She backs up more, her back against the wall.
I stepped in from of her, my hands in her hair. My body pressed into hers. She feels so soft and warm.
I stared at her into her eyes. The light in her eyes flicked on and off as she processed what I said.
“Right now, I want to kiss you.” I didn’t wait for her answer before my lips landed on hers.
A sexy whimper excused from her lips.
It gave me all the encouragement I needed. I ran one hand down to her neck and pulled her closer. My other hand wrapped around her waist.
Her hands remained at her side, but the rest of her body responded to me.
Her nipples hardened against my chest. I could feel her heartbeat banging in time with mine like we were running a marathon.
Her lips opened, and our tongues collided. I groaned as we tasted each other. Her mouth was sweet. Everything about this girl was sweet and perfect. I slid my hand down to her ass to the back of her thigh. She stiffened and turned her face.
“Hey,” I said and made her focus on me. I slowly fell to my knees. “I want to take all the bad stuff away.”
She looked off into space.
“Bri.” She turned back to me. “Please let me.”

Interview With Sydney Aaliyah Michelle:

1. Can you tell us a little about your books?
I write contemporary romance novels in a few different categories. I love my NA sport romance. Most of my books feature an Interracial couple and multicultural characters. I've also have a BDSM Series as well. I write what I love to read.
2. What inspires you to write?
I am inspired by everything. Movies, books, tattoos, the world around me. I am a seasoned observer. I love to travel and love taking my characters on some of the adventures I've been on and seeing how they react. I'm inspired by music, too. Basically anything creative sparks my creative juices.

3. How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?
I've written lots of books. Haha. I've published 13 books. Abandoned Love is my 14th published book. I can't pick one favorite. I love Abandoned Love because Cody Travis, my short sexy wide receiver who has big time dreams is my current favorite character. I love Leah James in Anxious Love because she's a writer and she speaks to me all the time. The Highland Park Series (BDSM) is my favorite caste of characters because this group of friends are so down for each other and hold each other up. They are amazing.
4. Do you have a special time to write or how is your day structured?
I don't have a set time to write because with my full time job, it's hard to keep a schedule, but I have to get in one hour a day. Usually I can get it in after work but before I get home. At least one day a week, I'll sit down to write for an hour and I'll look up and it's 3 hours later and 3,000 more words. Love those sessions.
5. Do you have a favorite food or drink you must have nearby when writing?
No big surprise, coffee. I have recently discovered Bulletproof Coffee. Coffee, MCT Oil and Butter. I sounds weird, but blend it all up and it's so good and the oils are good for brain function.
6. Do you have a favorite spot to write?
I am so blessed to be able to write anywhere, but my favorite place to write is in my local library on the quiet floor. It over looks the city square here in Frisco, Texas. Great spot for people watching.
7. If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?
If I was super-hero, I'd like to be like Tony Stark or Princess Shuri (Black Panther - Wakanda Forever). I'd use my intellect to make myself the ultimate super-hero and my powers would always evolve as technology evolves.
8. What are writing projects are you currently working on?
I'm currently working on my first MC novel. It's part of Xyla Turner's Legions of Guardians world. I've had a blast writing it and another sexy IR couple who may or may not end up shooting each other. And, I told you Leah James in Anxious Love keeps talking to me. Her and and Ryan have another book titled, More Anxious. It's a story inspired by the old movie All About Eve. It's been so much fun to write and something a little different than I've done before.
