Bea Paige!!
Sister
of Hex series:
The Sister of Hex
series is Bea Paige’s break out reverse harem series (one girl more than three
love interests) This series will be made up of 5 trilogies (15 books in total)
focusing on each of the 5 sisters set in the amazing world of Ever Vale. Each
sister gets a different harem of supernatural creatures: vampires, fae,
demigods, angels, and wolf shifters. The first trilogy is now complete and
focuses on Accacia and her delectable vampires of Clan Lux (Devin, Ezra, and
Rhain). This series has an evil queen, exciting battles, and some steamy
romance, so make sure you pick it up or add them to your TBR list #SistersOfHex
Here are some excerpts and links to Accacia’s
trilogy!
Accacia’s Curse #1
I head into bed, not bothering to put any
nightclothes on and drift off into a fitful sleep…
A warm hand strokes down my arm as my eyes flutter
open. Sitting on the bed next to me is the man from the carpark. He smiles.
“Are you feeling better?” he asks. I nod my head, suddenly unable to speak. “I
am glad of it. You won’t have any problems with that man anymore. I made sure
he will never touch you again.” I hear the words he is saying but find myself
completely distracted by the fact that he is still caressing my arm. His touch
is doing strange things to my imagination and my body. My skin tingles pleasantly
under his touch and I find my mind wandering to where I’d like his touch next.
An involuntary moan slips from my mouth and his eyes darken. I can feel his
gaze on my neck as I turn my head towards the side, pressing my face into the
pillow. The faint sound of warning bells rings in my head and I wonder why I
feel the need to bare my neck to him, wonder why part of me is afraid whilst
the rest is desperate for more than his touch. “Accacia, don’t do that,” he
whispers. The warmth of his hand is removed, and I feel bereft. “Wait,” I say,
grabbing onto his arm. “Don’t go.” I don’t know why I am asking a stranger to
remain in my bedroom, or why his touch has such a profound effect on me. Then I
realise I must be sleeping and relax into the dream, content that the only
danger is my imagination, and right now I’m enjoying every bit of it. He
considers me for a moment, but he doesn’t place his hand back on my bare skin,
even though I want nothing more than for him to do so. “I came to see if you
were ok, that is all. I need nothing else from you right now,” he says, running
a shaking hand through his hair. I sense his need to leave, but I don’t want
him to go. Sitting up in bed, I reach out to him, my hand pressing against his
cheek. “Stay,” I whisper. His eyes trail over my body and I realise that my
duvet has slipped down, revealing my breasts to him. “I cannot,” he says,
standing abruptly. I know he wants to, I can tell by the way he is devouring me
with his eyes. I surprise myself when I trail a hand over my breast, cupping it
gently. His eyes darken, and I can see his body sway, unsure now. “Stay,” I say
as I slide a finger over my hardened nipple. He seems to shake himself, and I
am not certain who is in a trance, him or me. “I cannot.” He raises his hand
and before I know what is happening, I am falling back onto the pillow, my eyes
closing once again.
Accacia’s Blood #2
“I’m sorry, Ezra,” I whisper, before resting my
bleeding finger against his lips. For a moment he stills. His whole body is
like a corpse in a morgue. Then I feel the gentle suck of his lips as they draw
my blood into his mouth. A noise escapes his throat as the deathly grey of his
eyes brightens. I swear I can see the storm clouds brewing in them once more,
swear there is something igniting within them. I keep looking at him, aware now
that silent tears are tracking down my cheeks. Ezra releases a deep moan,
opening his mouth wide over my finger until it has slipped fully into his
mouth. I feel his tongue swirl around it whilst he sucks and pulls on my
finger. It throbs, the feeling is both painful and erotic. My gaze is drawn to
his lips, how my blood has reddened them, then to the skin of his face as it
brightens rapidly, colour blooming on his cheeks. I look back up at his eyes
and blanche at the fire I see burning in them. I attempt to pull my hand away,
but he lets out a low growl, bringing his hands up and holding it fast. He sits
up, pressing his back against the wall, all the while still drawing on the
blood. My finger is numb now. I feel no pain, just a dull throb in a place I
never expected to feel. I have to press my lips together to stop a moan
slipping from my mouth. I watch, fascinated as Ezra’s body begins to fill out
once again. The broad width of his shoulders, the strong defined muscles of his
arms and legs returning as if they had never disappeared. He is as handsome as
he was the first time I met him standing in my kitchen. Stunning, powerful and
completely terrifying. “Ezra, that’s enough,” I say gently. Our eyes meet, and
I am caught by the hidden depths of emotion I see passing through them. I know
if I were to let myself, I would fall into them and never come up for air.
Ezra’s hands fall away, and I pull my hand from his mouth. It is almost
completely healed. I take a steady breath. “I had to do it. You were dying.” I
wipe at the tears that still persist in falling. “I couldn’t watch you die.
Please understand.” He remains staring at me, saying nothing. The silence is
suffocating. Ezra raises a hand to my face and wipes at my wet cheeks. “These
tears you cry, they are for me?” he asks gently. The cadence of his voice is
soft, warm, a far cry from the starkness I am used to. “Yes.” “Why do you cry
tears for me, Accacia? I’m pretty sure I do not deserve them.” His lips lift
slightly, a half-smile, uncertain. “Because you think you do not deserve them, because you
believe you deserve to suffer, because I think of Rhain and Devin and the grief
they would feel if you died, because your wife Thalia and your daughter
Roseanna would not have wished this for you.” He flinches at that, but his eyes
remain fixed on mine. “Because I want…” I falter, unable to continue. “Yes?” He
is looking at me so intently I can barely breathe. I swallow. “Because I want
you to live, because I need you to live… For yourself, for me.”
Accacia’s Bite #3
“Give it to me!” I cannot allow him to drink the
blood. I know that if he does then I will not get out of this place alive.
Without any regard for my own safety or the consequences of my actions, I let
the vial slip from my hand. Devin lunges forward, but it crashes to the floor
before he can grasp hold of it. Whether it is the poison in his blood or the
fact he’s just fed, his reaction is clumsy, slow. Inebriated, is the word that
comes to mind. It is just as well, because if he wasn’t I have no doubt he
would have caught the vial before it smashed to smithereens. “What have you
done?” he cries as he falls to his knees and presses his fingers into the
blood, scooping some up. He tastes it, then spits it out. “It’s ruined. It
doesn’t taste right.” He looks up at me and the hatred I see is overwhelming.
“You stupid bitch,” he snarls, getting up. I flinch at the ferocity of his
anger, but I remain strong. “You don’t need it,” I say, holding his gaze
steady. “Don’t tell me what I need!” he screams, the rage contorting his face.
“I’m a Dark Knight. I do as I please. If I want to gorge myself on blood, I
will. If I want to rip the clothes from your body and take you now, I will. If
I want to squeeze the life from that woman, I will.” He raises his hand to my
throat, resting it against the pulse in my neck. I feel the wetness of blood
against my skin. “I could rip your throat out now with my bare hands and I
wouldn’t even blink. You are nothing to me.” I refuse to look away. His hand
tightens, but still I look directly at him. Defiant. Devin. It’s me, Red. I’m here. Please snap out of
it. This isn’t you. This isn’t the man I love. He doesn’t answer, but he doesn’t kill me either.
His whole body is shaking with rage, and yet something is stopping him from
squeezing tighter. I can feel his hand tremble against my neck with the effort.
He leans in close, then roars in my face. The heated sound of his wrath pummels
against me. Still I stand defiant. I will not lose him to the darkness. I will
be his beacon, and if that means standing here risking my own life, then so be
it. “I should kill you,” he says eventually. “So, why don’t you?” Devin reels
back in shock. For a moment we just stare at each other. His chest is heaving,
but I am strangely calm. He narrows his eyes at me, opens his mouth, then
strides over to Ilana and pulls her towards him before ripping her throat out
with his teeth. Blood spurts from Ilana’s neck in a wide arc as she falls to
the floor in a heap. Sinews of muscle and shredded skin surround a gaping,
black hole. Her dead eyes stare blindly upwards, the ghost of her scream still
lingering across her face. Devin spits out a mouthful of her flesh before
swiping the back of his hand against his face, smearing her blood against his
cheek. “Next time it will be you,” he says, then yanks open the door and
leaves the apartment. I fall to the floor on my knees as the contents of my
stomach splatter across the stone. I heave until there is nothing left. Ilana
is dead because of me. I may have disliked her for what she did to Devin, but I
didn’t want her dead. Picking myself up from the floor, I make my way to
Ilana’s side. Guilt burns my throat as I look into her unseeing eyes. I kneel
and close them for her. I am not a religious person, I’d never had any kind of
faith. Facts and science were once my religion. Now, my views are different. I
have witnessed things that cannot be explained. I stay by Ilana’s side for long
minutes and say a silent prayer for her soul, hoping that she’s at peace now.
“I’m sorry,” I whisper. “Apologies won’t help her now,” a soft voice says from
behind me.
Brothers
Freed trilogy
Here are some excerpts from my new contemporary
romance trilogy with three HOT, millionaire brothers (by choice, not by blood)
and a feisty, strong, damaged woman named Louisa. These are not for the feint
hearted. You have been warned....
Avalanche of Desire #1
Excerpt
“You have the most beautiful arse, like a ripe
peach.” He steps closer, his hands smoothing over my skin before sliding over
my bottom. I can feel the coarse hair of his chest tickle against my back. I
love the feel of it, of him pressed against me. His warm mouth glides against
my neck as his hands trail down my arms. He lifts them up, guiding me to put
the flat of my hands against the shower wall. I can feel the firm silk of his
cock rest briefly against the crack of my arse before he stands back slightly
with a groan. Bryce is still hard, despite his release. “Louisa, what are you
doing to me?” he says as his hands begin to massage my aching breasts. He pulls
my nipples into hard points, twirling them gently between his thumb and
fingers. Desire pools within my chest, blooming outwards. I am on fire.
“Bryce…” I moan. He releases me from his teasing, sliding his hands over my rib
cage and lower towards the heat of my sex. I am desperate for his touch, I ache
for him, wanting nothing more than for him to press his fingers against my
clit. Still he teases me as his hands move lower, smoothing the front of my
thighs before circling around and cupping my arse. “Spread your legs for me,
darling,” he says, kneeling behind me. I do as he asks, realising I’m pretty
much putty in his hands. I know what is coming and I want his mouth pressed
against my sweet spot more than anything else right now. One of his large hands
grips my hip whilst the other pushes gently against my lower back urging me to
bend over. My body follows his demands instinctively...
Storm of Seduction #2
Excerpt:
“I’m sorry for waking you,” I say. “I wasn’t
asleep, baby. I’ve been waiting for you.” He smiles sweetly, and some of the
pain he holds seems to fall away. Raising his hand to my face he rests his palm
against my cheek, his thumb trailing over my now healed lips. He makes no move
to kiss me. He just gazes at me, his beautiful green eyes and gentle touch of
his hand showing me how he feels way more than his words could in this moment.
The air around us is charged with something indescribable. It has been building
here, between us all, since Bryce brought me back to their house over a week
ago. “Louisa, my butterfly. Can you feel that.” Under my palm his heart beats
like the frantic wing of a bird trapped in a cage. He lowers his hand to my
chest, resting it between my breasts. “Yes, you feel it too,” he says. “Hudson,
I think I…” love you. I am prevented from saying the words as he presses
a gentle finger against my lips. “Hush, don’t say it. I don’t want you to utter
those words until I can say it back. Believe me, baby, I want to, but there are
things I must let go of first. Things that hurt me, that would hurt you if
don’t deal with them.” Mirroring his actions, I bring my hand up to meet his
cheek. “It’s okay. We’ll mend each other, Hudson. There will be a day when it
no longer hurts, and I will be here, waiting.” Sliding my hand around the back
of his neck, I pull him close, grazing my lips against his. He is exceedingly
gentle when he touches me, kisses me, when he trails his lips over every inch
of my skin. He sets me alight, he draws out the pain of my past and dissolves
it with his adoration. That’s the only way I can describe how he makes me feel.
I am adored, like I am the only woman he has ever loved. These broken pieces of
me, they have cut my heart to pieces over the years, but now with these men,
the cuts they’re not so deep. We make love, for this is what it is. There is no
denying the rawness of the unfamiliar emotions that he and I both feel in this
moment. I return his tenderness with my own, letting him in, mirroring every
touch, every kiss, every slide of my lips across the warmth of his skin. I
blaze a trail direct to his heart, showing him how much I care, giving him
every single piece of me. I crack open my heart, allowing the last shards of
ice to melt away. When Hudson finally slides inside of me, his chest pressed
against my back, his arm around my waist, his mouth hot against my neck I know
without any doubt that I am now complete. That Hudson, Bryce and Max have
settled themselves inside my heart permanently.

Excerpt:
Sunlight edges through the gaps between the blinds.
It’s enough light that through my sleep fogged mind I can see who’s lying next
to me. Not that I need my sight to know who it is. From the gentle snoring and
vanilla scent, I know it’s Max. I stretch a little, reaching my arms up into
the air. Memories of our lovemaking last night come back to me. Sex with these
men is incredible, I never tire of it. From the outside looking in, it may seem
strange, my relationship with them all. It is unconventional, yes, but we are
all consenting adults. Max, Bryce and Hudson, although brothers on paper are
not blood related. We hurt no one loving one another, though I imagine some
would find it difficult to understand. Honestly, I don’t care. I feel blessed
to have their love and no amount of prejudice will ever stop me from loving
them. Turning onto my side, my naked body warm and relaxed I stare at my
sleeping beauty. Max’s hair has grown in length. Bryce teases him daily about
how he looks like a ‘surfer
dude’. I don’t think it’s just his
appearance. It’s his relaxed, happy go lucky nature as much as anything else.
His eyes flicker open, and it takes a little while for his eyes to focus and
for him to wake up fully. “Morning, beautiful.” “Hey, Jester. Sleep well?” “Eventually.
A rather sexy secretary had my attention for most of the night.” He grins,
pulling me in for a hug. “What time is it?” “Eight. Early still. I didn’t hear
Bryce and Hudson come in last night. Did you?” “Erm, nope. I was in an orgasm
coma.” “An orgasm coma. Is that a new medical condition I should be aware of?”
“I bloody well hope not, because I sure don’t need a cure.” I give Max a
playful shove. He grabs my wrists and pulls me on top of him. I can feel his
morning glory pressed against my stomach. “I think I might need some more
assistance. My secretary seems to be slacking somewhat.” “Hey, enough of the
secretary. I am your personal assistant and I expect to be treated with some
respect,” I say in mock anger. “I can show you respect. In fact, how about some
worship, I’m quite happy to worship,” he says, holding me firmly against his
chest and flipping me over so that I am lying beneath him. He scatters kisses
across my face. “Worship, adoration, love,” he says following each word with
another kiss.
Sisters
of Hex: Fern
Fern’s Decision #1 – coming May 2nd
Universal: https://books2read.com/FernsDecision
Blurb:
Fern is no stranger to death, or the
singing that accompanies it. She has always known when a person is about to
die, for the singing foretells it. Her mother passed it off as an oddity never
to be discussed, so she learned to tune out the voices until they disappeared
for good. Or so she thought.
Then one day, as she fights to bring back a dying baby in the hospital where she works, Fern hears the familiar melody once more. Except this time the voice belongs to a man with ice-blue eyes and black angel wings. As the baby takes its final breath, the angel sings his last note. For this isn’t an angel who gives life, it is one that takes it.
One year has passed since that encounter, and just when Fern is beginning to believe it had all been an illusion, the angel returns, and this time he’s not alone. For now there are three Angels of Death and Fern appears to be their next victim.
Fern’s Decision is the first book of Fern’s trilogy and continues the Sisters of Hex story. Although this is the start of a standalone trilogy, to get a full picture of the overarching storyline you might wish to read Accacia's trilogy first.

Interview With Bea Paige:
- Can you tell us a little about your books?
I write
reverse harem books – one woman multiple male partners and she doesn’t have to
choose! My Sister of Hex series is a paranormal romance / fantasy series with
supernatural creatures, a hidden world called Ever Vale, a prophecy, and evil
which and a curse. The series will have fifteen books when it’s finished
divided up into five trilogies focusing on one of the sisters and her
supernatural suitors. The first trilogy about Accacia and her vampire men from
Clan Lux is already available of Amazon. The next sister Fern and her dark
angels’ trilogy is coming soon. Fern’s Decision – book one of her trilogy is
due out 2nd May and is on pre-order now.
I don’t just
write paranormal reverse harem books, I also write contemporary reverse harem
and my Brothers Freed series is out now. Book one – Avalanche of Desire is
already available to download and books two and three, Storm of Seduction and
Dawn of Love are up for pre-order releasing 10th and 26th
March respectively.
In the future
I also plan to write a dystopian / science fiction reverse harem series called
Searching for Eden.
It’s going to
be a busy year!
- What inspires you to write?
My kids
initially. Two years ago, I first put pen to paper when my youngest went to school
full-time. I wanted to show my children that you can achieve your dreams if you
put your mind to it. Since then, after meeting wonderful authors in the indie
community, they have inspired me to write, to keep writing when it’s been
tough. I am one quarter of the Flock Family, namely Laura Greedwood, Arizona
Tape and Skye MacKinnon. These lady inspire me every day with their awesome
writing, determination and creativity.
- How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?
I have written six
reverse harem books, two short stories, and three books in my actual name Kelly
Stock (these are Urban Fantasy books). I only released The Soul Guide in Feb 17
and since then have written 10 other books, which is pretty nuts when I think
about it! It’s hard to say which is my favourite, but the one that means the
most to me, my soul book I suppose is The Soul Guide. This was the first book I
wrote (it took me two years) and it really means a lot to me.
- Do you have a special time to write or how is your day structured?
I still
work part-time so I have to write around that. I drop my kids to school at 9am,
come back and write for 2 ½ hours, go to work for 4 hours, return home, sort
out the kids, dinner, homework etc, then write from about 8pm – midnight most
nights. Lots of tea and chocolate helps
(and wine, wine helps too)
- Do you have a favorite food or drink you must have nearby when writing?
Earl Grey tea in the
day. Red wine in the evening.
- Do you have a favorite spot to write?
When no one is at
home, on my sofa with a blanket over my legs and my cat by my side. When my
family is home, I retreat to my bedroom to concentrate.
7. If you were a
super-hero, what powers would you have?
The ability to heal
and the ability to take painful memories away.
- What are writing projects are you currently working on?
I’ve just finished
writing Dawn of Love, book three of the Brothers Freed trilogy (contemporary
romance). Next, I will be moving on to Fern’s Decision the next Sister of Hex
book and the first book in her trilogy. I can’t wait to get stuck in with Fern
and her dark angels.
