The Experiment

(Landry Love #1)

by

*** A fake dating, neighbors, small-town rom-com***

Emma embraces small-town life after leaving her old life and baggage behind. Embodying the social skills of a pineapple and coping mechanisms that veer toward avoidance, the start of her new life journey is bumpy. Determined to have the life she's always secretly desired, Emma sets her sights on self-improvement, fulfillment... and her hot neighbor. Delving into the dating world with a history devoid of emotional connections, how does a woman who has never had a boyfriend gain relationship experience?
Maybe the answer is right next door.

Jess just wants his family to stop trying to change the way he lives his life. They don’t know why he no longer commits, why feeling that spark of something real makes him run the other way. He can’t trust his heart, so it’s best to ignore it. Until his quirky neighbor proposes an experiment. He’ll be her dating coach, and she’ll be his fake girlfriend.
When that spark appears, it’s only a matter of time before their whole experiment explodes.

THE EXPERIMENT is a 100,000 word small-town, steamy, slow-burn romance, with no cheating, no cliffhangers, and a HEA. The Landry Love Series is a set of interconnected, standalone, small-town romance novels.

 Review By Gia:

The Experiment is a really good read. I loved this one. I loved Emma and Jess. They are great characters and I found things that I had in common with both of them.   Emma is a strong woman who has been focused on her career.  She's learned to shut down for emotions and struggles with interaction with people. After an attempted sexual assault and decides to start over fresh in a small town. Jess is house-sitting for his brother. Jess and Emma are neighbors.   He has a past that makes him not want a relationship or a commitment.  His ex did a number on him. I liked Jess but sometimes I just wanted to shake some sense into him. After some bad attempts to date, Emma gets Jess to fake date her to help her figure out how to have a relationship. These two are cute great together. Jess's time in town always had an expiration date but I was so hoping he would stay.   I loved these two and was rooting for them.  It's a great sweet read.  I loved the side characters too and can't wait to read more of this series.

5 Stars!
