Review for Blood Hunger (Deathless Night #1) by L.E. Wilson

Blood Hunger (Deathless Night #1)

by
Emma Moss still has nightmares about the horrors she and her sister saw that summer night. Her sister has not been seen or heard from since, but Emma refuses to believe that she’s truly gone, and continues to search for her. However, she’s running out of resources, and running out of ideas. So when a stranger calls out of nowhere claiming to have information for her, she doesn’t hesitate to go meet him.

Nikulas Kreek is a six hundred year old vampire, and he knows a secret about the Moss girls; a secret he soon realizes that even Emma herself is unaware of. A secret that can help them both. But what he didn’t expect, was the blood hunger that would assail him upon meeting her, and the internal fight he would have to resist it.

Now bound together by more than just their cause, Emma and Nik set out on a rescue mission. Will they be able to get there in time? And will Nikulas be able to fight his instincts, and leave Emma to live her human life in peace? Or will he be bound to make her his for all eternity?

First off let me say that I am normally not a big fan of paranormal. My blog partner is usually the one that reads them. However, for whatever reason, after reading the blurb I was very intrigued with the storyline. I had this expectation that it would probably be ok but not great, BUT boy was I wrong. This book had it all. I fell in love with every single character, main or not. Nik and Emma are both trying to find their missing siblings and they embark on a journey to bring them home no matter what. And in joining forces to do that, they discover that they are much more than merely a means to an end. They both fight their attraction, although for Nik that deems to be extremely difficult since he discovers that Emma (the witch that didn't know she was a witch) is his mate. I found that this author really told a story that while we know is totally impossible but still managed to make you believe each and every word. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. I honestly don't care which character the next book is about because as I said, every character in the book deserves their own story well except for the cray cray Leehan. This was a most definite 5++ AMAZEBALLS stars. A copy was given in exchange for an honest review.

About the Author:
L.E. Wilson was born in Scranton, PA and grew up in a small town about twenty miles north of there. It's a seriously small town, as in "Don't blink or you'll miss it", but a beautiful area to live.

"Blood Hunger", the first book of her new "Deathless Night Series", which combines her lifelong obsession with the paranormal and her love of romance, was launched in December of 2014. The next book in the series, "Blood Vengeance" will be available in the summer of 2015.

L.E. now lives in the mountains outside of Seattle with her husband, two sons, and her two furry kids (who are much better behaved than the human children). When she's not busy writing or cooking vegan meals, she spends her free time photographing the gorgeous Pacific Northwest she now calls home.
