BLURB

JETT

She's mine.
Ever since I first laid eyes on her, I knew there was something about her but I had to be sure.
I had to know she was like me.
Now, after what I've put her through, I own her.
But they keep trying to pull her away from me.
They keep trying to destroy my world forcing me to unleash hell on earth to keep her in my arms.

EBONY

I’m broken, alone and hated by my own family.
When Jett Black walks into my life, I know I'm not safe.
Not safe from him, not safe from anyone and yet I can't get enough of him.
He's my savior in every way, shape and form.
Finally, after years I felt as if I was on the right path until forces try to tear us apart – forces which are trying to kill me.

But I won’t give him up – he’s mine...forever.

Kate grew up in Western Sydney, Australia, hoping to one day have a pet dragon and castle to roam around in. Then the Khaleesi stole her life and she was forced to reinvent herself.

It was around the age of 15 when she really thought she could make it as a writer, and after course after course on different writing styles, she finally gulped down her fear and pursued independent publishing.

When she's not writing, she's spending time with her boyfriend and their zoo of pets that include snakes, spiders, lizards, gecko, an axolotl and a bird.

Interview With Kate Bonham:

1. Can you tell us a little about your books?

I write two different genres. Paranormal & Dark Romance. My first series was based around Fallen Angels and the war between good and evil, the next series I began is about dragon shifters in a dystopian world and the latest release is my first dark romance which has elements of crime and suspense and is currently my bestselling book.

2. When did you know you wanted to write a book?

Hmm, I think I have always known...it just took a little prompting to get me to do it. I've been writing stories since i was little - even planning stories with my barbies!

3. How did you choose the genre you write in?

I have always loved paranormal so that was an easy choice. With dark romance, I fell into it, loved the dark romances I had read. When I started writing Mine, Forever, I had just seen Suicide Squad and I loved the direction the writer took with Joker and Harley. It was so different to the comics (yes I am a comic geek), one that I was worshipping after the movie so I took those characters changed them a little, and used the love story to push me through the dark romance.

4. Where do you get your ideas?

It depends on a few things, as I said above, Joker and Harley influenced me to write Mine, Forever. Whereas Fate, my first book, came from a dream. The main character, Ace, was a recurring dream where he was telling me about the troubles he was having in Purgatory. I was so sick of the dream that I got up and began writing.

5. Do you have a favorite spot to write?

Not really, but I know I never use my big desk I made my boyfriend put together lol.

6. What is a usual writing day like for you?  How is it structured?

I have to squeeze it in when I can. My current work day is get up at 6.30, catch a bus, then train for an hour, then work until 5.30pm, back home by 7pm, dinner, writing, spend time with my boyfriend, look after my pets (we have 17), and write a little more before squeezing in at least 4 hours of sleep. My weekends are a little better but I also publish an e-zine for the indie community so once a month, I am super busy. Somehow I seem to get my manuscripts done though!

7. Do you have a favorite character to write about?

My favourite has been Jett from Mine, Forever. My readers seem to love Ace though. Jett is just broken, and yet so full of protectiveness for Ebony. He has always been a favourite.

8. For a reader who hasn't read your books yet, which book do you suggest they start with?

It depends on what they like. Obviously if it is dark romance, Mine, Forever. However, if they like paranormal - Fate is a favourite among my readers...which is currently free!

9. What are writing projects are you currently working on?

I have just completed the first draft of my first vampire novel, Revelations, it will be coming out in March and now I am thinking of writing my take on the Hades/Persephone story from greek mythology :)
