Review by Gia:
I loved this one. Where Promises Die is the first book I have read by R.C. Stephens and it won't be the last. I loved the flow and pace of this story. It's an emotional roller coaster of a read. The story spams through the years and starts with Grace at 11 years old. At 11 Grace's mom passes away and she goes to live with the Duncans. She's broken and struggling with life and she isn't talking. She does really know the Duncans but that was her mom's wishes. The Duncans family is very religious and a little odd. Eisav is the black sheep of the family. He goes against a lot of his family's wishes. He connects with Grace and helps her heal. Eisav is the first one to get her to speak again. We get to see Eisav and Grace's bound grow through the years. This story had hooked. There are some crazy things going on in the Duncan family and the church. There are some omg moments and some unexpected twists. There was never a time a got bored reading this one. This one is a must read.5 Amazeballs Stars!!
