Jonah Steel is knee deep into trying to solve the mystery surrounding his family and his brother’s abduction, and the arrival of his best friend has complicated the situation…although not as much as his infatuation with his brother’s therapist, Dr. Melanie Carmichael. The quiet humility of the blond beauty has him enthralled, and he burns for her as he never has for any woman. Melanie Carmichael is intelligent and driven, yet filled with regret. She has fallen in love with gorgeous Jonah Steel, but fears she may never be able to tell him. The demons from her past have come for her…and she may not get out alive.

Review by Gia:
Burn is book five in the Steel Brother Saga. It can not be read as a standalone, you must read the previous ones before you read this one. I'm loving the Steel Brother Saga. It slowly builds. In each book we get more pieces of the puzzle but then other things are added to the mystery too. Usually in a story I get bored and antsy if I don't get all the pieces pretty early in the story but in this story it doesn't bother me not to know everything up front. With this one the little pieces we get throughout the book fit nicely and it's just perfect writing.
Burn picks up where Melt left off. Melt ends with a cliffhanger involving Melanie. I was so hooked right from the start. I couldn't read faster enough to find out what would happen to Melanie. Melanie and Jonah together make for some super hot scenes. Their relationships has it highs and lows. I'm a little frustrated sometimes with them because I just want everything to be perfect for them. We get some answers in this one but it also opens up some new questions. I can't wait to read the next one.
4 1/2 Stars!!
