I sucked in a breath. “Are you trying to kill me?”
“A little dramatic don’t you think, Ashton.” She stood up and smoothed out her clothes.
Suzanne was tall, skinny, and blonde and sometimes she wore glasses. Other than that, I don’t pay attention to people or the unique details they all have. They all blend into categories, and I can’t see past that. They are short or tall, fat or skinny, and the only other thing I notice is usually their hair color. And I guess glasses. Sometimes those stick out to me.
My world is boring.
Bland.
Dull and lifeless.
Sometimes the beating of my heart is the only thing that reminds me that I'm alive.
“I’m scared, Suzanne.”
I’m always so fucking scared.
“Anxiety can do that to you.”

A Flaw So Beautiful is a great read. It's a beautiful story about overcoming darkness. Ashton has been through a lot. Some of the things she has been through a unthinkable things. She survived the worst but is left with severe anxiety and plagued by panic attacks. She is going through life but not really seeing or living. She lives in an apartment building managed by her brother, Mike. I wasn't totally in love with Mike, sometimes I liked him sometimes I didn't really like him. He's a good brother though. Now Lincoln, I loved. Lincoln is amazing. He moves into the apartment building. Ashton doesn't talk much and always wears sunglasses. She oozes don't bother me but Lincoln is drawn to her. On Mondays for weeks, he talks to her but she never responds. I was so excited for him when she finally said something to him. Lincoln is patience and doesn't push her. I loved to see Ashton slowly come around. These two are prefect together but a relationship doesn't come early. I loved reading this one.
