MAKE ME: Book One in The Submission Games
Blurb:
The currency is pleasure and the cost is a surrender of power.
Investigative journalist Sloane Winters has one goal: take down The Underground, the exclusive BDSM club that’s swallowed her twin. Her exposé will show her sister the truth—there’s no such thing as harmless fun in BDSM.
Darko Aralica immediately recognizes Sloane as a submissive, but her judgmental arrogance about kink is an intriguing challenge. When she begs him to teach her submission, he accepts. He’ll prove Sloane’s rightful place is at The Underground—or tied to his bed.
Darko begins Sloane’s training, guiding her through sensual scenes that strip away her preconceptions about the lifestyle – and herself. Sloane thought she wanted the truth.
But the truth doesn’t always set you free.
Welcome to The Underground.
You can’t buy your way in. You can’t screw your way in. But you might earn your chance to enter the inner circle and submit to Doms who know your desires better than you do. If you can take it.
There can only be one winner of the Submission Games. It probably won’t be you.
Get on your knees.

Bio:
Tamara
Mataya put the B in LGBTQIA and the 'She' in 'That's What She Said.'
She's currently a librarian; she lurked there for so long recommending
books to patrons and shushing people, that she suspects they only hired
her so it would be less creepy. Now she's armed with a name tag and a
thin veneer of credibility. She's also a musician with synaesthesia -
which isn't an issue until someone plays a wrong note, which makes her
want to squirm inside out. It makes for a good live show.
Interview With Tamara Mataya:
- Can you tell us a little about your books?
I write romantic friction *wink wink* with quirky characters, strong women, and men who are good guys. - Which has been your favorite series to write?
The Submission Games. It goes a little further than anything I've ever done, and I love the world--an elite BDSM club. - Do you have a favorite character to write about?
That's like choosing a favourite child! I love something different about each of them! - Do you have a favorite spot to write?
In my comfy chair with my feet up and the dog curled on the floor beside me. Unless the dog is farting, in which case I sit with my eyes watering wishing I was somewhere else. - Do you have any “odd” writing habits?
None that I can think of. - Do you listen to music while you write?
Yes BUT! But I have a condition called Synaesthesia, so sound effects me on a different level than it does others. I wrote a book where the main character had the same condition as me (JUST BREATHE). I can't listen to NEW music when writing, or I end up only listening to the songs. - When did you know you wanted to write a book?
Pretty early on. I went to the Young Author's Conference when I was int he 5th Grade. My entry was about a magical jack-o-lantern whose wife was killed and he ended up a single parent to 17 baby pumpkins! Sadly, I didn't write my first book until 2006. A high school teacher SLAUGHTERED my dream and I let that teacher's horrible words get to me. Except for some angsty poetry, I quit writing for ten years. So if you're reading this and have let someone talk you out of your artistic dreams, GO FOR IT! It's NEVER too late! - What do you do when you are not writing?
Think about writing! Haha. I also work on music. I work at a library. I read a lot--though not as much as I used to. Too busy writing. - What are writing projects are you currently working on?
Right now I'm writing TAKE ME, Book 2 in The Submission Games; A serious literary fiction about LGBT's in modern Russia; and an AMAZING series I'm co-authoring with the fabulous Jessalyn Jameson! I've got other WIPs, but those are the most immediate!
