Zeke Powers should’ve come with a warning label.
He was hot.
He was sexy.
And he was a bad boy through and through.
The things he said to me had me blushing and my toes curling.
But he was someone I totally didn’t need walking into my life, screwing up the plans I’d made and turning my world upside down.
Although I’d been living a no-frills, no-fun existence, I felt it was necessary to get where I was going. Keep your eye on the prize and all that.
But Zeke was determined to prove to me that what I desired most—him—was just what I needed.
New adult. Not recommended for readers under 17.

Review by Gia:
Zeke is book two in The Powers That Be series. It can be read as a standalone. Each book in the The Powers That Be series follows a different Powers brother. There are four super sexy Powers brothers. They all attend the same campus and have reputations on campus.
I read the first book Gable and was super excited to read Zeke's book. Zeke is a football player. He has woman wanting him. He sets his sights on Scarlet.
Scarlett has had a bad track record with guys. All her serious boyfriends have cheated. She has a complicated life. Her mother left when she has younger and her father is a truck driver. She has a younger brother, Lane and a wonderful grandmother that they live with. She helps keep the family afloat with working and balancing school. She has little time for dating but then Zeke walks into her life.
Zeke is a force to be reckoned with, when he set his mind on something he doesn't give up until he gets it and he want Scarlett. I loved Scarlett and Zeke's interactions. The things that come out of Scarlett mouth sometimes are funny. Scarlett and Zeke's relationship have some ups and downs that make for an interesting story. We also get to read about the other Powers brother too. I can't wait the read the next about the next Powers brother.
5 Amazeballs Stars!!
Gable (The Powers That Be #1)
Released December 2014
Gable Powers had all the makings of everything my father had ever warned me about: a reputation that was anything but stellar, a dirty mouth that had me shivering at the things he uttered in my ear, and a body (oh, God, that body) that was covered in tattoos, all of which added up to a solid ten-point-oh on the bad-boy scale.
The first time I met him, I instantly loathed him.
The second time was even worse.
He was a jerk. He was an ass.
He had secrets.
He was nothing I thought I ever wanted.
So why couldn’t I resist him?
New adult. Not recommended for readers under 17.
