Some secrets should just stay buried. On the day Tristan Morrow is born her mother goes missing, prompting an investigation that produces no solid leads. When 15 year old Tristan is required to write a biography on her mother for a school assignment, she learns the truth about her mother’s fate, and is hell-bent upon finding out who was responsible for her death. But when Tristan herself goes missing too, everyone is suspect, even her own father. Set in rural Fox Hollow, PA, Shadow Dancer unravels a web of lies, deceit, madness and corruption. There is much uncertainty as the investigation unfolds, but there is one thing that is certain: Tristan Morrow holds the master key to the entire riddle.

Review
Review by Gia:
Shadow Dance is a really tough book to review without spoilers but no worries I will not include any spoilers.
I loved reading Addison Kline's Breaking Black series so, when I saw Shadow Dance was coming out I knew I had to read it.  Shadow Dancer is a little different from the Breaking Black series.    Shadow Dancer is a great story and I was definitely not disappointed with it.    It's has mystery, suspense, and romance all in one story.  It has something for everyone to enjoy.
At first the I was confused with the prologue.  I wasn't sure who it was talking about but it just intrigued me more.  Tristan has always thought her mother abandoned her and her family.   Tristan is assigned to write a biography on her mother.  It is then when a family secret of what happened to her mother comes to light.   When Tristan founds out the truth, she is abducted.  It's up to her family to unravel the mystery and find her.
At points I was not sure what was happening but that was because it was written so well that I was trying to figure out the mystery along with the charterers.   I loved Tristan and her brothers.  They all have a great family dynamic.  I like how family is always has a strong  part of Addison's books.
