No shirt, no shoes,
no … problems?
Hemi Ranapia isn’t looking for love. Fun,
yes. Love, not so much. But a summer fishing holiday to laid-back Russell could
turn out to be more adventure than this good-time boy ever bargained for.
Reka Harata hasn't forgotten the disastrously
sexy rugby star she met a year ago, no matter how much she wishes she could. Too
bad Hemi keeps refusing to be left in her past.
Sometimes, especially in New Zealand’s Maori
Northland, it really does take a village. And sometimes it just takes a little
faith.
NOTE: This 36,000-word (120-page) novella
begins about six years before the events of Just
This Once, and yes, it gets a little steamy at times, because Reka
and Hemi are just that way. It can be read as a stand-alone book, even if this
is your first escape to New Zealand.
Review by Gia:
I loved reading Just For You. Just For You is .5 of the Escape to New Zealand. It can be read as a standalone or as an introduction to the series. The series has 6 books in it. I picked up Just For You with the expectation of reading it as a standalone. Rosalind James did a wonderland job writing the characters with a great story that now I can't wait to read the rest of the series. There's a note that some of the characters from the other books in the series pop up and this book so I can't wait to dig into to more of the series and read their stories too.
Just For You is Hemi and Reka story. Hemi is a rugby player and has a reputation of being a player. Reka is a down to earth girl. Reka and Hemi have one day of passion and then he's gone. When he sees her again, he wants a relationship. He has to prove to Reka that things will be different this time. Of course there is a lot of thing that our throw their way that cause trouble for their relationship.
There is a New Zealand Glossary at the end of the book. That feature was great and I found myself consulting the glossary several times.
Just For You is a quick, short read. You won't be disappointed. It's a definite one click.
