Tease by Missy Johnson Release Day Blitz & Review

Tease by Missy Johnson

Release Day Blitz

Male escort.

That got your attention.

Some of the most powerful and well known women in the country pay to have sex with me, some of them married. Some are into more than just straight sex, which is why they call me. Bondage, power play, submission…nothing is off the table. I will do anything for the right price.

The stories I could tell you about a certain high profile congresswoman, or that innocent blonde actress. Trust me, she’s not so innocent.

Guys would kill for my job. I’m living the fucking dream. Meaningless sex, no relationship hang-ups and I’m rolling in the dough. Life is perfect, just the way it is.

Until I meet her.

She changes everything.

She makes me want more than I’ve ever wanted for myself and she believes in me. But she also thinks I sell insurance. I can’t stop what I do, but I can’t give her up.

Eventually, my two worlds are going to collide and when they do, shit will hit the fan.

Review of Tease:
About this book....well I have mixed feelings about it. The story being about a male escort, Coop, and him doing what he feels is the best thing to provide for his mother who has Alzheimer's. I couldn't help but feel bad for Coop  because felt like this was the only way to make enough money to pay for his mother's trial treatment. He obviously loves his family so much. And I constantly felt sadness for him. And then when Mia walks back into his life and they have this childish bantering back and forth and flirting that was so cute. Then Coop realizes Mia is much more than a friend of his sister, but finds himself falling for her. They are super sweet together and definitely have great chemistry. But, that's where my liking goes to not so much. I mean, yes he's an escort and that's your job, but how do you have sex with many partners even after having been with the one woman he doesn't want to be without? I don't get it. And then not tell her...oh NO NO NO! There was just way too much sex with lots of different people throughout the whole book. I felt like this book was more about the sex than anything else. I wish there had been more story, less sex. This book just wasn't my cup of tea, but as I said, if the book was more focused on Coop and Mia and even Nic and Jake with the troubles of his Mom's Alzheimer's as the front burner story and the male escorting been more of a back burner story I think it could have been a great story.  I give this book 3 stars!!!

Review by Tabitha

Missy lives in a small town in Central Victoria with her husband, and her confused pets (a dog who think she's a cat, a cat who thinks he's a get the picture).

When she's not writing, she can usually be found looking for something to read.
