“He apologized. Don’t you think you should do the polite thing and at least hear him out?”
“I don’t know.”
“You don’t know, or you’re just too scared to find out what will happen if you do?”
“Do we have to do this right now?” I sigh, and he tosses his arm around my shoulders and pulls me into his side.
“We’ve been doing this for months now. I’ve seen the way you look at him when you think no one will notice, and I see the way he looks at you, not giving a fuck if everyone sees. Even when he thought you and I were a thing, he still made it perfectly clear to those who were watching that if by some chance he got a shot, you would be his.”
“I really think you are reading way too much into this.”
“Am I?”
“I don’t know.”

Until Sage is the first book I read by Aurora Rose Reynolds. It's book two in the Until Him series but it can be read as a standalone. I wasn't lost reading this one but there were minor characters that showed up that I didn't really know who they were and I felt like I should have known who they were. But overall I was fine with not reading the previous book.
I was totally hooked after reading the prologue. Sage messed up with Kimberly once and he's determined not to mess up with her again. Sage is a good guy. Kimberly doesn't real make it easy for Sage to get back into good graces with her. Sage does some swoon-worthy things. Kimberly has a secret that she keeps from Sage and while reading you know it's going to come out and I kept wondering how Sage would react. It's really a great read.
