I read the True North series by Allie Juliette Mousseau and loved love. So, when I heard Dare was coming out, I could wait to get my hands on it. I had high expectation for this book and I was not disappointed. Dare is another great book by Allie Juliette Moussea. Dare is the first book in the Brothers Of Ink and Steel series. It' told in Josh and Sophie's POVs and we get some past and present from both of them.
Sophie is a strong character. When we first meet her she has a baby girl and is in an abusive relationship with the father. She escapes him. She is massage therapist and meets Josh when he is in the hospital. She has magic fingers. Josh is also UFC’s Light Heavyweight Champion. He's also extremely sexy. He wants Sophie. He offers her a job as his team. She has a lot of stipulations before she accepts. We really didn't get to learn how she got away from her ex but with her stipulations it made me think that she was hiding from him and while I was reading I kept waiting for him to return.
There is a ton of great sexual tension between Josh and Sophie. Josh is great with Sophie. He has a past that he's not proud of and is afraid to let Sophie know about. Josh is awesome with Charlie, Sophie's daughter. They seems like they make a great instant family but both of their pasts can come back to cause problems.
Dare is a great read. I can't wait to see what Brother of Ink and Steel get a book next.
