Hit The Wall is book two in the Blythe College Series. I think you may be able to read this as a stand alone. You get enough background information needed in Hit the Wall not to be lost when reading if you have not read the first one Push the Envelope. I loved Push the Envelope and would recommend reading it first.
We meet Jackson in Push the Envelope, in that one he thinks he is in love with Lex. In Hit the Wall Jackson finds out what love is. It's a really sweet story. There is not a lot of angst in it. Jackson has been a player in the past and when he meets Kaylie he know he wants to change his ways.
Jackson and Kaylie are great characters. They don't keep secrets and when talking they have very little filters. They keep it real. There are some really funny scenes in the story. My favorite line is "Surprised you in a good way like a present you were really hoping for on Christmas morning or in a bad way like finding out you picked up a bad flu bug from kissing me?"
If you are looking for a great, sweet, story with no cliffhanger, then this is the story for you.
