Blog Tour for A Week in New York by Louise Bay

A sexy, romantic fiction novella series
Installment #1
Release: October 21, 2014
Each novella is around 30k words

Synopsis:

Anna Kirby is sick of dating. She's tired of heartbreak. Despite being smart, sexy, and funny, she's a magnet for men who don't deserve her.
A week's vacation in New York is the ultimate distraction from her most recent break-up, as well as a great place to meet a stranger and have some summer fun. But to protect her still-bruised heart, fun comes with rules. There will be no sharing stories, no swapping numbers, and no real names. Just one night of uncomplicated fun.
Super-successful serial seducer Ethan Scott has some rules of his own. He doesn't date, he doesn't stay the night, and he doesn't make any promises.
It should be a match made in heaven. But rules are made to be broken.
A Week in New York is the first in a series of three novellas.

Review by Gia;
A Week in New York is this first part in a three part novella series.    That means it is a short quick read and it leaves you wanting more.   I really enjoyed reading it.  I was able to read it in one sitting.
Anna is from London and after a break up she goes to New York with a friend.  She meets Ethan in New York.  They both have rules they follow when hooking up.  Ethan's a sexy player.  He and Anna seems perfect for each other while Anna is in New York.  I thought Ethan was a good rebound guy for Anna but somewhere along the line feelings out involved.
Some thing happens towards the end that surprised me.  At that part, I found myself yelling at Anna to stop what she was doing.   I can't wait to read the next one.

About the Author:

I write sexy, romantic, contemporary novels - the kind I like to read!
Ruined by romantic mini-series of the seventies and eighties, I love all things romantic. There's not enough of it in real life so I'll settle for books and films.
I love the rain, the West Wing, London, days when you don't have to wear make-up, being alone, being with friends, elephants and champagne.

Synopsis:
Most fairy tales end with a happily ever after.

This is not a fairy tale. He is not her Prince Charming about to whisk her away into the sunset. This is a story about betrayal, lust, desire and, ultimately, revenge...

And revenge can only lead to one thing.

Tyler

He was my stranger, my visitor, my shadow in the corner of my room. He stalked me, watched me, knew everything about me. But all I could do was sit and wait. I waited for him to visit me night after night. He was becoming my addiction, my craving, my obsession. He knew every inch of me, but I knew nothing about him.

His calls himself Lotus and, as crazy as it sounds, I think I’m falling in love.

Dean

I wanted to take her, possess her, dominate her, and ruin her. I wanted to ravish her, please her, and consume her until I couldn’t take much more of her.

She will want me to kiss her. She will want me to hold her all night so that she feels a connection with me. I would make it so that she would seek me out in the dark. The one that satisfies her ultimate fantasy. A stranger who sneaks into her room. Someone who gives her the ultimate pleasure, but also seeks to give her ultimate pain. Pain she has never had to endure. Pain that will eat away at her until there is nothing left.

She was my nemesis, I was her lotus. And payback was a bitch.

Review by Gia:
Deviant is a weird and twisted story.  It's a good read.  It's what I like to call a drop everything and read now book.   We get dual POVs of Dean and Taylor.  We also get some past flashbacks of Dean and Taylor, which real helps to see how their relationship was.
Tyler is a girl.  Her name trough me off at first and it took me a little bit for me to figure that one out.  Tyler is a little freaky.  She has a stranger that comes into her house.  After a while she makes contact with the stranger by leaving him notes and cookies.  It escalates into him coming into her room at night and having sex.  The sex they have is definitely not vanilla.  This whole concept is a bit weird .  We know from reading who her stranger is but she doesn't know until towards the end of the book.
Dean once loved Taylor but he blames her for something and wants revenge.  Dean is kind of a mystery.  I'm not sure whether to like him or hate him.
Ian is one of Taylor's best friends.  I liked Ian throughout most of the book but he really isn't as nice and good as it seems.
There's a point where the truth about everything comes out.  It's pretty shocking, I didn't expect it.   The roles people played in the past are not what I expected.  What Taylor does which the truth is crazy.  I sure hope there is a second book because I definitely want to read more.

Synopsis:
Just when she thinks her life can’t get any worse, Taylor meets alpha wolf Alder—the most caring, gallant, and handsome man on the planet. On the run from the police, there’s no way she could possibly get involved with him. But somehow she does anyway.

Alder seems to be convinced that the two of them are going to live happily ever after in his mountain territory. But between looming pack wars, her dicey past, and his twin brother—the most obnoxious, sadistic, and handsome man on the planet—Taylor has a feeling that her new life among werewolves may be just as complicated as her human one.

Review by Gia:
Trust is a great beginning to the Running With Alphas series.  It's a quick short read.  It's also a book one with the story continuing into the next book, so you are left with questions still unanswered and wanting more.   Book two, Honesty is out now so you don't have to wait to continue reading the story.
Taylor is on the run from the police.  She sees Alder at a gas station.  I loved how Taylor describes Alder's looks.   She describes him as "Men who look like him weren't supposed to exist, not in real life anyways."  Alder is an alpha and a wolf shifter.  Taylor doesn't know this right away.   She is attracted to Alder and something about her pulls Alder to her.  Alder ends up picking her up while she is walking away from the gas station.  She's on the run and Alder doesn't know it.  When he finds out he helps her escape the police.  Alder is a man that wants to help people.  He and Taylor have a great connection.
On their trip back to his pack, we get to know Taylor and Alder a little better.  Taylor has some surprising things in her past.  When they finally get back to his pack, we find out Alder has a twin brother  Hale.  Alder seems nice and sincere but Hale is just creepy.    I can't wait to read more and see how Hale fits in and if the police will ever catch up with Taylor.
