Welcome Today's Featured Author
Michelle Dalton !

Can she overcome the trauma of her past and find redemption in the wild Scottish Highlands?

After a horrendous attack on her family farm in South Africa takes the lives of her loved ones and leaves her wounded, her only escape is to leave the country of her birth for the highlands of Scotland and her last living relatives. But Sadie’s life may still be in danger.
Blane Buchan is an Englishmen living in the small highland town of Lairg, seeking a life away from the emptiness of London society and a past he'd rather forget.

When Sadie finds a mysterious blue roan mare, she must use the gift given to her from Epona; Protector of horses. But the mare just might be the one who saves her.

From the mountains of South Africa to the wintry Highland Moors this is a story of redemption, love and the powerful connection between humans and horses.

About Michelle Dalton:

Originally from Pretoria, South Africa, Michelle Dalton and her family fled the rising violence taking over her beloved country and now lives near Brisbane, Australia with her husband and triplet sons.
While also juggling a nursing career and teenage sons, she loves to escape into her fictional world. Michelle has a deep love of horses and enjoys weaving them into dramatic stories with honourable men and strong women.
Her other hobbies are gardening (usually trying to save her precious herbs and bulbs from an overactive miniature Jack Russell), painting, and reading.  She’s also a huge Star Trek and Marvel Comics fan, and as of recently a wee fan of DC too.

Interview With Michelle Dalton:

1. Can you tell us a little about your books?
Well Epona is my first book published under the name Michelle Dalton by a publisher. Epona came to me in a dream...four years ago. Thats how long it took me to perfect her. Epona is the story of a young South African woman who has the gift of speaking to horses. She is the lone survivor of a brutal farm attack but is left horrifically scared both mentslly and physically. The story quickly moves to the highlands of Scotland where her father family reside. The story is filled with a lot of emotion, a touch of magic and ancient lore, a lot of horse and even more romance.

2. What inspires you to write?
Anything. A song. A dream. A movie Ed Sheeren song inspired me to write a short story (available as a free read on my website) for Calliope Jane. Epona was a dream and Peny Dreadful inspired me to write Steampunk. My steampunk can be found under the name MC D'Alton and i co-write it along side another fab author Melanie Page. We've signed 4 books with a publisher and Iron Heart is due for re-release in June/July this year!

3. How many books have you written?
Five and three WIP
Which is your favorite?
I've never had favorites, especially with my children and my books :)

4. Do you work with an outline, or just write?
I simply sit down and write.

5. Do you have a release day tradition?
Bubbles!

6. Do you have a favorite spot to write?
Naw, i can write anywhere.

7. If you had a superpower, what would it be?
To go back in time and enjoy my children while they were toddlers!

8. What writing projects are you currently working on?
I am working on three. One with Melanie Page - our steampunk collaboration. A second Collaboration with the spectacular Sarah Williams and the third is one of two contemporary romance books about South African expats in the outback.
