Welcome Today's Featured Author

JLE (Jennifer Lassalle Edwards)!!

Ripped & TwiSTeD
Faith Dumont is a witty, confident, fiery fitness competitor, or so she appears to everyone else. Yet no one knows the horrors that she's endured and escaped to create this seemingly perfect life. No one knows the battle of self-loathing and deviant urges Faith battles daily.
She keeps her demons under control by her regimented, disciplined lifestyle. Faith has also implemented “rules” into her life, specifically a “no dating” rule. This rule was made to protect her heart. Life in the gym keeps her sane, to an extent, however, just because there is no dating does not mean there is not a bit of kink.
Slade is smoking hot physique competitor who works with Faith in the gym. Not only is Slade a co-worker, he is Faith's only friend, and a kin of the kink. He has always willingly followed Faith’s conditions... that is until tattooed trainer Ty enters their lives throwing all that Faith has created into a tailspin. When Slade sees Faith falling for Ty's seduction, he decides to refuse Faith's rules and introduce her to his.
With her normalcy crumbling around her, Faith is slammed by the carnal and emotional enticement of both men. Can they make their triad of passion work or will Faith’s past come back to decimate any spark of hope for love that she ever had?
Warning: This book is fictional and depicts acts of violence, graphic sex, including BDSM, M/F/M menage circumstances, and oodles of kink. This book is recommended for mature audiences (21 and over) who are not offended by scenarios such as these.

Candy & KinK:

Claudette, an exotic dancer with the stage name Candy, is a girl with voracious sweet tooth who has become jaded by her illustrious career. She has always loved the notion of living the fairy tale, happy endings and all, but the men who frequent the club have crushed that fantasy. After all, who really wants a real relationship with a stripper?

Tired of meaningless flings, she has made her life an endless cycle of working and hanging out with her friends, Z and Britt, at their favorite dive bar until the wee hours of the morning keeping her mind occupied and away from romantic dreams. Besides, candy and desserts are far better than sex anyway. That’s what Claudette keeps telling herself.

But things are not always as they seem, and Z and Britt see that. Will Claudette heed their advice? Will she go back to her comfortable ways to forget it all? Or just maybe, Claudette will be surprised by the unexpected and find that her fairytale is even better than she ever could have imagined, proving that sex, and maybe love, can be oh so sweet including candy and kink.

About JLE (Jennifer Lassalle Edwards):
JLE is a Cajun girl from Louisiana who now resides in Colorado with a husband and a furry menagerie. While attending college, JLE majored in Biological Sciences, Civil Engineering, English Literature and Respiratory Therapy/Cardiopulmonary Science. Constantly changing interests, she still does not know what she wants to be when she grows up, mainly because she refuses to ever become a stagnant adult. She believes in living life to the absolute fullest.
In JLE’s pursuit of an abundant life of adventure, she has spent time as a burlesque performer, a roller derby referee, a bartender in the French Quarter, writing for a music site in New Orleans, and currently is an amateur fitness competitor. She has a penchant for all things that sparkle, and on a completely different note, is a self-professed food whore. However, one interest has never faltered through the years, daydreaming and penning those warped thoughts to paper.
Now, you can also enjoy as she reveals all of those deviant fantasies that play in her head daily.

Interview With JLE (Jennifer Lassalle Edwards):

1.  Can you tell us a little about your books?
I write erotic romance, usually with BDSM elements. I range from really strong, hardcore BDSM and dark moments to strangely funny and sweet. My men are not broken. My women are not weak or need to be saved. Usually, the words that come up most from readers are:
Edgy. Quirky. Eccentric. Sexy. Erotic

2.  Do you ever experience writer’s block? What do you do to overcome it?
I wouldn't say that I have writer's block, but there are times I can visually see what I want to convey and have a hard time finding the right words. I really want readers to see what I see, and I have a need to "paint pictures with my words." I stole that from an author friend who complimented my writing as such. Usually, I will take a break and daydream the scenes until the words just flow.

3. Do you work with an outline, or just write?
For my previous two books, I knew the whole story and wrote freely. Last year, I worked with Al Daltrey on his River Walk anthology. He provided me an outline for Through the Ages. Since then, I have adopted an outline for my work. I may tweak it as I go or change minor things, but I find it's a great help.

4. Do you have a favorite spot to write?
I sit cross-legged on my sofa pretty much all of the time when writing.

5. Do you have a favorite food or drink you must have nearby when writing?
I normally always have a glass of water or tea nearby.

6. Do you listen to music while you write?
Pretty much always. When I write, I usually write to really dark, goth, depressing or angry music. Marilyn Manson, Five Finger Death Punch, Tool, NIN, Slipknot, Stone Sour, Volbeat, Type O Negative…

7. If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?
Flying, invisibility, and super-human strength.

8. What are writing projects are you currently working on?
I have been working on a two book series currently. I also have a new standalone novel that I have begun. I find that I have so many ideas popping up all of the time though. I find myself jotting scenes, ideas, and outlines for other works that I want to delve into, but there is never enough time in the day.
