Good Boys Talk Dirty (Forbidden Fruit Shorts Book 1)

Sophia
They say every girl loves a bad boy, and there's undoubtedly a reason for that. Bad boys rock your world, but then they break your heart. So, I made a solemn vow to put my bad boy dating ways behind me. Now I have an itch that I just can't scratch. If you know what I mean. Enter Bax, my brother's best friend since we were kids. Bax is the embodiment of a good guy. I bet he even helps old ladies carry their groceries. When I least expect it, though—, he shows me a side of him I never imagined. Is it possible the best of both worlds has been beside me the whole time?

Baxter
The number one rule of the guy code is you don't date your best friend's sister. Google it; you'll see I'm right. Even if she is gorgeous and smart and has a unique brand of crazy that just flat out does it for you. Bros before—well, you know. But after a night of drinking and listening to Sophia complain about her bland love life, I see an opportunity too golden to pass up. After all, good guys can talk dirty too.

One Night Only (Forbidden Fruit Shorts Book 2)

 Ryan

There are things that just shouldn’t happen—like me being in love with my sister’s best friend. Still, that didn't stop me from spending our childhood telling her just that.

Of course, she doesn't believe me. I'm just the annoying guy she’s known all her life.

But then she begged...

Not like that, but her asking for my help was still music to my ears. I stopped listening when she formed those beautiful words—Ryan, I need you—and came to somewhere around a broken hip and a last-minute date to her ex’s wedding.

I accepted, not even sure to what exactly, but she can always count on me. I’ll only need to remember three things:

Don’t punch the groom
Don’t grab her ass—too much
And no matter what, remember this is only for one night.

His (Forbidden Fruit Shorts Book 3)

Suzanne
To say that my family is traditional would be an understatement, so I knew when I got pregnant unexpectedly with no husband in sight, they weren’t going to take it well. My brother Alex, the only one who ever has my back, asked his best friend to be there when we broke the news, hoping an outsider would temper their reactions. It. Did. Not. It went about as bad as I could imagine until—Matt saved the day. Now I have a baby daddy, and a not so fake fiancee to boot. Nothing can go wrong living in a make-believe relationship with the boy I’ve loved since I was eight. Nothing at all.

Matthew
I went that night to give Susie Q my support, not to almost punch her father and claim her as my own. I did though. The minute I saw the chance, I claimed her and her baby as mine. I don’t plan on giving them back.

Tall, Dark, and Brooding (Forbidden Fruit Shorts Book 4)

Natalie

One bad decision doesn't define you. Right?

That's what I kept telling myself, but then I walked smack dab into another one.

A six-foot-two, hands the size of dinner plates, turns my insides to jelly kind of mistake. It wasn’t my intention to kiss my professor, but I wasn't aware it was Dr. Eli Summers until he let me up for air and peeled his palms from my ass.

We can thank my unwanted admirer for that.

Now, he's offering me the protection of his reputation and the title of his fake girlfriend. The perfect solution, right? After all, there’s no way I'll fall for Mr. Tall Dark and Brooding.

Interview with Amanda:

1. Can you tell us a little about your books?
My name is Amanda Faye, and I write Hilarious Erotic Shorts and Contemporary Romance Novels. Or, as I tell strangers on the street, I write Lady Porn! I started out writing Medical Romance Dramas and branched out from there. My latest series is basically combining my two favorite tv shows into one; The Doctor and the Detective Series. It will be a procedural drama that follows the same couple through an entire series.

2.  When was the moment that you knew you had to be a writer?
I've always been a writer. I've always loved words. My children learned from birth that I'd ignore them happily of I was wrapped up in a good book. But I have to lay becoming a professional writer squarely at my husband's feet. I was beta reading for friends, proof reading for friends, and then I discovered Fan Fiction. Within a few weeks of posting my first story, I was the top rated writer in my little fandom. My husband told me if I'm going to spend all my time writing, I might as well try to make some money off of it. The rest, as they say, is history. I still don't make any money, but I'm happier then I've ever been.

3. How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?
I have written 3 full-lengths, The Doctor Drama Series, and by Nov. 2nd will have published 8 shorts. My favorite full-lenght is Beautiful Trauma, book 2 in the Doctor Drama Series. It is a Friends to Lovers Second Chance Romance. My favorite short story is Tall Dark and Brooding, book 4 of the Forbidden Fruits Series. It is a friends to lovers, student-teacher age gap. As a matter of fact, I fell so in love with Eli and Natalie from Tall Dark and Brooding, that not only did it reach almost 40k, I released a second short on the same day, titled Beat of His Heart, which is basically a full-length epilogue.

4. When you develop characters do you already know who they are before you begin writing or do you let them develop as you go?
I'm definitely a pantser. I know loosely what my story will be about and who my characters are, but they make themselves known to me as I write. It's one of the reasons Tall Dark and Brooding turned into its own mini duet. Eli and Natalie had a heck of a lot more to say then what could fit into a 25k short story. I used to laugh when authors said stuff like that. Let me take the opportunity now to say, I'm sorry I made fun of you. I understand completely now.

5. Do you have a release day tradition?
I don't have a release day tradition. I am horrible at the business side of writing. My amazing fantastic assistant and Friend Brittany handles all of that for me. I'll be honest, and say that during my release rush this summer, I forgot when some of them were being released. I love words, and stories, and reading and telling them. Everything else, like release day parties, always seem to fall to the way side for me.

6. If someone who hasn't read any of your books yet, which one would you suggest they read first?
If I were going to recommend a book of mine, first I'd have to ask what they were looking for all. I read everything, therefor my books haven't exactly stuck to one theme or genre. If you're looking for Drama and Angst, with a high dose of passion and sexual tension, then I'd recommend Beautiful Trauma and Tall Dark and Brooding. If you're looking for a break from reality for a few hours, to have fun and relax, then I'd tell you to go with Grounded, or One Night Only. If you like traditional tropes given to you in a new way, then Just a Dream for sure. S.O.S. is a fun romp in the sack with unexpected emotions and a twist you won't see coming!

7. If your fairy godmother waved her wand and whisked you away to the location of your choice, which place would you choose?
If my fairy godmother could take me anywhere, I'd pick London. I've been obsessed with England since I learned what it was and the rich history they have there. My goal in life is to visit England and Scottland at least once in my life.

8. What writing projects are you currently working on?
I am currently working on Bulletproof, book one in the Doctor and Detective Series. I can't properly articulate my excitement for this series. I actually started it LAST December, then scrapped it in order to push out the Forbidden Fruit Shorts. Now, I can't type it fast enough. It's going to have action, drama, laughter, tears, and a romance that will pass the test of time, guns, and an oversized dose of stubbornness. Michael and Evangeline may just be my favorite couple yet.
