Collided is book two in the Dirty Air series. It can be read as a standalone. I wasn't paying attention and didn't realize there was a previous book until I got to the end and it said we could read Noah and Maya's story in book one, Throttled. I'm definitely going read that one at some point. Liam is a race-car driver. In this first Chapter I felt so bad for him. Then Chapter two starts in the present. Liam didn't deal with things very well and is behaving badly. He has many layers and is really a pretty ok guy. Sophie has met Liam 3 years ago and now there paths cross again. She has a list of things she wants to do and Liam wants to help her. Getting involved with Sophie is probably not a good idea for Liam's reputation but he can't help himself. These two work well together and have great chemistry. They have good banter that makes this one a fun read.
