The first time I met Ian Kemp in the sparkling blue waters of St. Thomas, I was six years old and we shared a summer beneath the stars.
The second time I met Ian Kemp, he was a shell of the boy I once knew. Turbulent and infuriating, he refused my friendship at every turn. Like me, he was a casualty of life’s cruelty, but we were planets apart.
We’d both sought refuge on the island, hoping to find our anchor. Instead, we found each other and managed to reclaim our stars...until we both got swept away.
Review by Gia:
Someone Else's Ocean was a great read. Koti has ran off from the hustle and bustle of NYC to St. Thomas. Ian's life is falling apart and he's escapes to St. Thomas too. Koti and Ian meet each other as kids but haven't had any contact until Ian shows up at the beach. OMG, these two pulled at my heart strings. Koti is a fun character. She has some deep thoughts that kind of made think wow that's a great way to look at things. These two have ups and downs and it's a great angst filled story. This one hooked me from beginning to end. You should definitely check this one out.
5 Amazeballs Stars!
