  Interview With Marisa Oldham:

 1.   Can you tell us a little about your books?
The thing I hear most about my books is how real and emotional they are. I love gutting my readers LOL and I love writing about life but of course with a twist of fiction.

 2.   How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?
Published, I have 12 books out now. I’m working on 3 full-length novels and one novella I’m almost done with. Learning to Breath is the most personal book I’ve written and my favorite.

3.    Do you have a special time to write or how is your day structured?
I usually work during the day so most of my writing is done at night or on the weekends. 
4.    Do you listen to music while you write?
It depends on my mood. Sometimes, I can’t listen to music because it’s too distracting. Sometimes, I need it to inspire me.
5.    Do you have a favorite spot to write?
I have a reclining chair (aka Mr. Huggie) that I prefer writing in but there’s no power outlet nearby so lately I have to sit on the couch to write. I wish I had a little private room or nook to write in. I’m easily distracted.
6.    When you write do you write the first draft on a computer or paper and pen?
Most of my work is completely written on the computer except Learning to Breathe and my story in Naughty & Nice: ‘Tis the Season. I wrote several chapters of LTB by hand. I wrote almost the entire story for N&N by hand.
 7.   For a reader who hasn't read your books yet, which book do you suggest they start with?
If you prefer erotica, I suggest Naughty & Nice: Single’s Night. The Naughty & Nice series can be read out of order. If you’re looking for a in-depth, heart breaking love story, start with the Falling series Book One – The Falling of Love. Make sure to read that series in order and then go onto Learning to Breathe. Then you’ll want to read the After We Fell short stories starting with Falling in Paris.
8.    If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?
I’d love to have the power to translate the stories in my mind to already formatted and edited books on the computer LOL

 9.  What are writing projects are you currently working on?
I just passed my dark erotica novella T H E  B O X over to my editor and my goal for this year is to put out at least one full-length novel. The one I’ll most likely publish will be Such a Pretty Face and maybe Of Killin’ Blood (a collaboration with author Angie Martin).
