Review by Gia:
Head-Tripped is book two in the Ad Agency series. It can be read as a standalone but if you have read the first you'll see some of those characters int his one.
I normal don't comment on the set up of a book but the way this one is set up is awesome. The beginning of the chapters have a link to the song that goes with the chapter. I loved this aspect. Sometimes I would listen to the song while reading. Nicole Archer's books are the only ones that I have have listen to the sound for and it's definitely because of the handy links at the beginning of the chapter. Another thing I liked about the set up was there is a glossary in the back of the book to tell you want the non English words mean in the story. Originally when I saw the note about the glossary I was like oh no but this glossary is set up for easy use. The words are listed under the chapter which makes them really easy to find.
Effie and Elias are great characters. Effie has her issues. She's a recovering drug addict. She also an amazing violin player. She has been through a lot be she's still young and a little naive. She doesn't have a great knowledge on pop culture and sometimes that was funny.
Elias is a rock star but Effie doesn't know that when she meets him. Elias is in a rut and looking for something to make his band have a great tour. Effie and Elias hit it off right away. There's a great connection between the two. Effie might just be what Elias needs but not everyone on Elias' team likes her. I really liked this one from start to finish.

her writing skills—it provided a lifetime of book material. Many months
her book purchases are as high as her mortgage. As a full-time, working
