The Goodbye Man is a great unique twisted story. This book has a disclaimer, I honestly didn't rad it because I already heard this was going to be dark and twisted. If you're looking for a fluffy romance this isn't it. If you're looking for a twisted book that has you loving it but also cringing too, this is the book for you. The Goodbye Man is definitely unique and deals with a few taboo subjects that I have never seen in other books.
Caesar and Matteo run an illegally organ donation business. Caesar takes the unloved and unwanted and gives them the goodbye they beg for while harvesting their organ to save other people. Svetlana is in a bad situation with her father Pavel. Pavel treats her like she is not a person. Caesar "saves" her from Pavel. There is attraction between Caesar and Svetlana but you also have this feeling that Caesar somehow knew Svetlana before. Matteo has some weird "habits", that makes him very interesting. All three are messed up and twisted but they are wonderful written that even with all of their flaws you still love them. There were definitely some surprises from the characters that I never would have guessed and had me going omg did they just go there.
I loved reading The Goodbye Man and can't wait to read the next one.
