Review for Gone for You by Jayne Frost

As the guitarist for the rock band Caged, I know the rules: no relationships. No complications. Leave ‘em smiling when you go, but always go. Besides, it’s not like I’m ever in one place for more than a few days at a time. As the next hottest thing out of Austin, the band and I are riding the wave, and the music is all that matters.

Until her…

Lily Tennison has “complication” written across her beautiful face. But I can’t get involved. The timing’s all wrong. But she’s under my skin, and I can’t resist her troubled eyes and sweet smile. And I do have a little time to kill. Not much, just a few days in Dallas.

So I’ll scratch the itch and move on, like I always do.

Simple, right?

Note: You won't need to turn up the heat—Sixth Street Bands Romances have plenty of steamy fun. This story can be read as a stand-alone but is part of the Sixth Street Bands music scene.

I will be the first to admit I am not a huge fan of rocker books. I have read a couple series where I thought they were brilliant and made me change my tune and I started venturing off to read a few more. While I liked this book a lot I didn't love it, but my reasons are not because this wasn't a great book or that it was written poorly because it really was. I was hooked from the beginning and was really invested in watching their story unfold. Honestly, my only reason for not giving this a 5 star is simply because it takes a whole lot for me to love, love a rocker book. Lily and Cameron were awesome characters and I loved how the author told their story. You will fall in love with both of them practically immediately and root for them throughout the whole book. This is a start to what I believe will be a great series. If you like hot rocker guys with a heart of gold and a whole lot of sexiness then this is the book for you! Great job Ms. Frost! I look forward to reading more from you! I rate this book a 4.25 AMAZEBALLS stars!! A copy was gifted in exchange for an honest review.
