Interview With Paige Steele:

 

1. Can you tell us a little about your books?  

Three words describe by books: Dirtbikes, best friends and romance! Here’s the blurbs for each book.

Dirty Friends:

Best friends Cooper Brewis and Ryan Evans have grown up living a house apart from one another. They love pool parties, hot weather, sassy chicks and the dirty tracks. Separated by college, careers, and hidden desires; Cooper, Ryan and Ansley’s unbreakable friendship has been tested. For the past four years, Ryan has been ridin’ his way to the top, Ansley has been ridin’ away from the past and toward a bright new future, and Cooper has been ridin’ his way through women, trying to get over the one that is in his heart. When Cooper signs a two year deal, the two best friends find themselves racing bar to bar against each other, but agree it’s a dream come true to be riding together again. When Ansley lands an unexpected job, it brings her to California as well. Knowing she’s avoided her childhood best friends long enough, it’s now time to get over the past and move forward.

2. Do you have a favorite character to write about? 

 Not really…I love all my characters for different reasons. But honestly….Cooper will always hold a special place in my heart because that is the first guy that I named, started to wrap the series around, and write about, until the whole story came together.

3. What do you do when you are not writing?  

First I am a mom and wife, but I also work a full time job, Monday thru Friday, at a medical office. During the spring and summer months, my weekends are usually spent a track with my family. My husband and I have two teenage boys and they both ride, so if they aren’t racing, then they are practicing at a local track.

4. Do you have any odd writing habits? 

 Haha…I don’t know if it’s odd, but I write down in a notebook when I make a character…like their hair color, eye color, where they live, what they do and so on…I don’t want to forget one thing.

5. Do you have a favorite spot to write?  

My love seat in my living room…I want to be with the family but I want to write so I do both. Though I love to write outside in the summer.

6. Do you listen to music while you write?  

OMG, yes!! I have to… I put the headphones in and play the songs that I am using in the book, over and over and over again. 

 

7. What's one random fact about yourself that you can share?  

I get embarrassed easy…

 

8. Are you attending any author signing event this year? 

I just went to Sexy in the City last weekend and had a blast. I would love to, if I can but as of right now…there is nothing set in stone.

9. What writing projects are you currently working on? 

 I have Ridin’ Dirty that is hopefully going to be release at the end of next week and the third book that I’ve already started writing. There will be at least two more in this series and a couple other stories that I have already thought of that I would love to get out of my head and in print.
