Interview With Bink Cummings:

1) Can you tell us a little about yourself?

Names Eva 'Bink' Cummings. Bink is my road name, that I acquired as a lil kid. I grew up a MC brat. My daddy Steel is the VP of the Sacred Son's MC. My brothers both followed in his footsteps and are also patched members. Oh, and I'm 31. 

2) Do you have any “odd” writing habits?

Not really. I do annoy the shit outa my Sacred Sisters with my writing, asking them if it sounds right. If I'm remembering this or that correctly. I want to be as accurate as possible. 

3)Do you listen to music while you write?

Yes, I have an extensive playlist. That is a mix of music I've listened to growing up and a little bit of the newer stuff. Like Steve Miller Band, Lynard, ZZ Top, Eagles, Metallica.. etc... The newer music is rock or heavy metal. Godsmack, NIN, etc.. 

4) Do you have a favorite character to write about?

Since my story is about my life. I'd hate to say myself, that sounds too self centered. Although, I sure do love showin' people Big (our club president) and sides of him that most people from the outside never see. I think it's kinda eye opening for them. Most people only see him as a tough, six foot seven badass giant. Who is a control freak and often a complete asshole.

6) When did you know you wanted to write a book? 

I didn't know. My Sacred Sisters convinced me to do it. I've always been a decent writer. Now I decided to try my hand at writing a novel. Going good so far. Took a little while for my family to jump on board. I've had to gain approval to disclose club shit. Which if you know me, didn't go over very well. I'm sorta the type of woman to do what I want, when I want, how I want and I don't ask permission. Big and I had a few arguments about it, to say the least. 

7) What's one random fact about yourself that you can share?

I not only grew up around motorcycles. I ride one too. 

8) What’s your favorite outside activity?

Ridin' my Harley. 
9) What inspires you to write?

My life and the people in it. 
10) What project are you working on now?

It's called MC Chronicles- The Diary of Bink Cummings. Essentially it's about growing up in the MC. More specifically last year when I started writing in a Diary and I use bits and pieces of that to formulate the story including my recollection of the events that lead up to the biggest changes in my life as an adult.
