I loved Wicked Innocence. Missy Johnson is one of the author that I just automatically one click when she publishing something and again I was not disappointed with the book.
In the beginning, Micah is fourteen and she buys a fake ID to make herself 18. Micah is not a type teenage girl, she is not buying the ID to get into clubs. She buys the ID to be able escape for current life situation. At first we are really not told what she is running from. Micah builds a life for yourself. She meets Saxon Waite, who manages a band that she has become the signer for. Saxon is a sexy ex rocker. He left the lime light year ago.
Both Micah and Saxon have pasts that they are not proud of. Both feel guilty for things that have happened in the past. The past doesn't always stay hidden and it does catch up wit both of them. I was surprised by what Micah was running from in her past. Her real age also comes to light too.
It's told in the dual POVs of Micah and Saxon. So we get to see what they are both thinking. I love books written in dual POVs.
