Review by Gia:

Vanishing Act is a good read.   Brooke is a strong character.  In the beginning of the story she's in a abusive relationship but when she finds out she's pregnant she finds the strength to leave.  She doing good but is always looking over her shoulder wondering when he'll find her.   Blake walks into her life and I was thinking oh these two are perfect.  Blake is sweet and nice and an all around good guy.  It was refreshing to see her walls come down as she slowly let Blake in.
It's book one in the Survivor's Duet so this one ends in a cliffhanger and has me wanting more.   The ending is crazy.  There is a huge revaluation at the end that has me scratching my head wondering what just happened.  I don't know what Brooke's reality is but I'm definitely hooked and can't wait for the next one.
4 Stars!!
