When I was sixteen, I was madly in love with Ryder Casey.
He was kind, he was loving, he was everything.
Then he killed my twin brother, the night before our seventeenth birthday.
Accident or not, he crushed me in more ways than one. So I turned him away and never looked back. I haven’t forgotten. And I certainly haven’t forgiven.

Wow, I loved this one. Taylor Danae Colbert is a new to me author and the blurb is what made me want to read it. Mila is at a crossroad inn life and thinks she needs to forgive Ryder
in order to move on. Mila and Ryder have a pass that is laced with
heartbreak. Mila is a strong character. I really liked her. She's
dealing with grief and looking to figure stuff out. Ryder has been
through the ringer too. These two need each other. They need
forgiveness and understanding to move on. When Mila and Ryder meet
again there is a lot of emtions that come to the surface. Ryder needs
her as much as she needs him. This one is an emotional read. I loved
everything about this one. This is my first book I read
by the author and I'm totally hooked and can't wait to pick up the next
Meade Lake story but I might pick up another one of her books while I
wait. 5 Stars!!
Meet Taylor Danae Colbert
Taylor has been writing since the tender age of seven, when her mother bought her her first typewriter. Once she finished her first work, a tall tale about a girl with hair that grew too fast, her father told her she should be published. And so, her lifelong dream of becoming a published writer was born.
Taylor never thought of herself as a romance writer, but it turns out, she loves love.
When she's not chasing her kids, watching Impractical Jokers with her husband, running, or playing around with her two pups, she's probably under her favorite blanket, either writing a book, or reading one.
