I hate Drew Woods, and she hates me.
Even so, I’m not the cold jerk most make me out to be, and I have no problem moving the single mom and her baby into my home. I do, however, draw a line when it comes to acting on the way her loose lips make me feel.
Alive.
She’s too mouthy, too prying, and her curves are way too distracting.
I might have lost my way after a nearly fatal car accident, but I’m not stupid. Giving in to Drew would be a short-lived fix for this pain I’m saddled with, and I knead something permanent.
I’d be insane to think what we have could be anything other than temporary…right?

I loved I I Knead You Tonight. It's book two in the Slice Series but
it can be read as a standalone. If you have read A Pizza My Heart than
you have already met Drew and Winston.
Drew is Wren's best friend and Winston is Wren's brother. Drew is a
single mother trying to make ends meet. She's strong and sassy. She's
also pretty stubborn and doesn't like to take help from others. Winston
is perceived as a stoner and a slacker but that's not really who he
is. He battling his own demons. The more we do d out about him the
more I loved him. Drew and Winston have a love hate relationship. Some
of the things they say to each other are funny and other are just mean
but deep down they really like each other. I loved these two and their
story made for a great read.
