Interview With Maria Vermisoglou:

1. Can you tell us a little about your books? I have currently published one book: The Cursed Girl. It's an epic fantasy, young adult adventure, part of a series. It's got witches, humans, demons...oh and a curse! It is set in Spain in the year 1230. It has some twists and turns and all in all is quite enjoyable. At least, that's what my readers say ;) I can't say more, you'll have to read the book.

2. What inspires you to write?
I'm inspired by books and places mostly. The Cursed Girl, particularly was inspired by The Mortal Instruments book series and the tv series The Witches of East End. Books and places are the things that make me travel so I draw my inspiration from them.

3. Do you have a special time to write or how is your day structured?
I write when I'm inspired even if I'm in a bus. I always have a tool to write, whether it's pen and paper or just a phone. I always create stories in my head and when a story is worth telling then I write it down.

4. Do you have a favorite food or drink you must have nearby when writing?
Not really. Sometimes I like having tea but it's not necessary. The drink of imagination is enough to keep me going.

5. Do you have a favorite spot to write?
I tend to change from time to time. Right now, I like writing in my room with all the fantasy books surrounding me. Some time ago, I was writing in the living room. I change to keep the imagination flowing. Lol!

6. If you had a superpower, what would it be?
That's a difficult question. I would choose healing or telepathy.

7. What are writing projects are you currently working on?
I'm working on volume 2 of The Cursed Girl, a sci-fi story and another fantasy story. Yes, all at once.
