Interview With Tee Smith:
1. Can you tell us a
little about your books?
As an Australian
author, all my books are based in Australia. I write romantic suspense and
contemporary romance.
2. What inspires you to
write?
I started writing, as a way to express
my feelings. I have written for a very long time, but lost my way through the
years of having children and a career. Finding my way back after I turned
40-maybe it was a w mid-life crisis.
3. How many books have
you written? Which is your favorite?
I have written and
published 6 full-length novels and 3 novellas. Plus, there are a few yet to see
the light of day.
I used to feel asking a writer which was her favourite book, was like asking a mother which was her favourite child. But that was until I wrote a favourite. I have to admit the second book in my Elegant Series- Elegant Deception is my favourite. It the book closest to my heart. I wrote this book loosely based around actual real life events and it was cathartic for me.

4. Do you have a special
time to write or how is your day structured?
Now that I am
fortunate to write full-time, I try to write a little each day. Giving myself
the weekends off to spend with my family. (Meaning, generally just my husband
these days as I have teenagers and they don’t want to hang-out with me
anymore.)
5. Do you have a
favorite food or drink you must have nearby when writing?
I do love my coffee,
but I don’t have any particular rituals.
6. Do you have a
favorite spot to write?
Depending on the time
of year. I can usually be found on my lounge or in my pod-chair on my front
porch.
7. If you had a
superpower, what would it be?
I would love to be
able to fly- or teleport even. I love to travel and can never afford to travel
as much I would like. Wouldn’t it be awesome to just go somewhere else, without
having to worry about the getting there part?
8. What are writing
projects are you currently working on?
I have a novel that I
will be releasing soon. A romantic suspense about a woman who wakes with
amnesia. She has been beaten and strangled, but has no recollection of how or
by whom?
Beyond that, I am
also working on a 3 part series about a group of lady private investigators.
