Xavier is one of the only true Hunters left in New York. He doesn’t cave under the pressures of the newly appointed Government task force to eradicate the “problem” they had with Nosferatu’s feeding on the humans just like the others did. Xavier wasn’t fooled by their idea to “help” the Nosferatu blend in - he knew it was highly unlikely the bloodthirsty animals would curb their taste for fresh, hot blood.

When the woman who killed his father and brother ten years ago arrives back in town - he sees red, vowing to end her once and for all….

Soleil has secrets - too many secrets, one in particular had haunted her since the day she’d made the promise to keep it. But the time had come to end her existence, she’d tell Xavier the truth about his family and allow him to kill her. Only...first, she needed to get him to trust her enough to tell him the truth.

Just as she is about to unload, her dark and dangerous past comes back to haunt her - this time, it would take more than a trick to ensnare her enemy and take him out for good - can she enlist Xavier to help her to ensure the world doesn’t fall into the hands of an egomaniacal immortal hellbent on using the humans as his slaves.

 About Kate Bonham:

Kate grew up in Western Sydney, Australia, hoping to one day have a pet dragon and castle to roam around in. Then the Khaleesi stole her life and she was forced to reinvent herself.

It was around the age of 15 when she really thought she could make it as a writer, and after course after course on different writing styles, she finally gulped down her fear and pursued independent publishing.

When she's not writing, she's spending time with her boyfriend and their zoo of pets that include snakes, spider, scorpion, turtle, bearded dragons, skinks, gecko, an axolotl and birds.

Interview With Kate Bonham:

1. Can you tell us a little about your books?
I write two genres under the name Kate Bonham, which are paranormal romance and dark romance. My paranormal serials include fallen angels, dragon shifters in a dystopian world, vampires and hunters and my dark romance is the first book in a series about deadly women. It's what you would call a crime/mafia type story with wicked and crazy scenes - not for the faint of heart either.

2. What inspires you to write?
I've always been writing - and concocting crazy ideas - just ask my Mum! She had to listen to my crazy 8 year old ideas. Ever since I was about 12, I knew I wanted to be an author, and by 15 I had written my first full book. I think a lot of things inspire me, for one seeing a good movie or reading a good book. Most of my books have been inspired by dreams though.

3. What is a usual writing day like for you, how is it structured?
A usual day for me is hit snooze about five times, finally get up around 6.30am and quickly get dressed, run for the bus, run for the train, get to work, lunch time is usually spent running errands or catching up on some reading, back to work, then run for the train, get picked up from the station, cook, eat, clean up, sit down at the computer for a few hours (hopefully), say goodnight to my partner, go back to writing, get up and turn everyone of (my pets), have a shower and hit bed usually around 1am.

A weekend day is much more relaxed, I assure you!

4.  When you write do you write the first draft on a computer or paper and pen?
It really depends. If I feel I've been spending too much time on the computer, I will grab my legal pad and pen and sit on the couch with my boyfriend, while he watches some awful program and I'll write that way. However, I'm more efficient on a computer and not distracted by TV if I sit in my office.

5. Do you have a favorite spot to write?
In my office. Less distraction.

6. Do you have a favorite character to write about?
That's sort of asking which child is your favourite, isn't it? Is it bad if I say I do? His name is Xavier and he's in my Craving Crimson series. He's a mix of broody, angry at the world, sarcastic smartass, and yet so incredibly sexy with his intelligent warrior mind that he's hard to get past.

7.  For a reader who hasn't read your books yet, which book do you suggest they start with?
Oooo this is tough. I usually ask someone what they like first but I would say start with Fate - it's the first and will introduce the reader to my first series :)
However, if you love vampires, start with Revelations, if you love dragons, read Stormblaze and if you love dark, Harley Quinn/The Joker romance, read Mine, Forever :)

8. If  you could spend 24 hours as a fictional character, who would you chose?
Definitely Jace from Mortal Instruments....there's just something about him I need to have!

9. What are writing projects are you currently working on?
I am in the middle of projects actually, I have Redemption coming out in November which is Book 2 in the Craving Crimson series and am thinking of writing an untitled book in the Deadly Women series OR begin my Mt Olympus series with a retelling of the myth Persephone & Hades. Decisions, Decisions...
