Kimberly has been writing since she was a young girl growing up in Kansas City, Mo. Reading and writing has always been a big part of her life. She enjoys a world she can get lost in while reading a good book. A wife and mother to four beautiful children she decided she wasn't busy enough. She spent some time chasing down fugitives as a bounty hunter then laid down her hand cuffs and finished her college degree in nursing.
Kimberly loves discovering new music to jam out to and loves anything that's different. When Kimberly isn't writing or playing superhero for her children, she takes care of her patients as a Registered nurse in the field of hospice.

 Interview With Kimberly Blalock:
1. When did you know you wanted to write a book?   
I’ve always known that I wanted to write and publish a book. From the time I was a little girl I knew I would be an author one day.
2. What inspires you to write?  
Absolutely everything! My brain is constantly coming up with ideas and concepts. 

3. Do you have a favorite spot to write?  
Honestly, I write everywhere. I have 4 children so I take every opportunity to jot something down.
4.Do you have any “odd” writing habits? 
 I wish. I either have to have coffee or a Pepsi and earphones with my Spotify playlist available, but other than that I just write what flows from my imagination.
5. Do you listen to music while you write?  
Absolutely! And, the music I listen to isn’t main stream. I find more inspiration in different kinds of music. Music that has yet to fully be appreciated by all. There’s so much of it, much like the work of an Indie author. We aren’t “mainstream” So I like to support that sort of music.
6. Do you have a favorite character to write about?  
Yes! Strong women. I’m the mother of four, beautiful children and am always teaching them to be strong in some aspect. For me a woman can be strong in so many different ways whether it’s physically, emotionally, etc… I love to create the impossible with a strong female character! That for me always goes to Natalia. 

7. Do you work with an outline, or just write? 
 No! And sometimes I don’t write in order either which can cause many problems for me later lol. I write what I’m inspired to write at that time. I unfortunately need to be inspired to write. But that’s what makes writing for me so much fun. The excitement and ideas. Kind of a high.

8. If you could spend 24 hours as a fictional character, who would you chose?  
Oh my. There are so freaking many! But as I’m currently writing (Limits; a standalone Angel Novel) which is Natalia’s book and I know all the fun she gets to have. I’d have to say her.

9. What writing projects are you currently working on?  
I am actually working on a few. Limits (An Angel Novel), A SURPRISE that will be announced soon, and Race to my heart- I’m co-writing with Abby P. Cook
