I loved Pulled Under. Sydney's parents would rather have fun and travel they raise children. She lives with her brother John. They come from money but somehow Sydney isn't a snobby rich kid. She a cool down to earth girl.
Rhett is a manwhore. He doesn't even know some of the name of the girls he sleeps with. Sydney has always had a big crush on Ben. She has loved him from afar. Ben passes away and Sydney is having a hard time. Rhett has help her in the past so she goes to him to get over Ben.
For Rhett, Sydney is different. I loved to see Rhett work for the girl he wants. His friends don't cut him any slack about it either.
Their relationship is definitely rocky. Rhett not only has to deal with winning Sydney over but also her brother hating him and a secret Ben has.
I would strongly suggest reading the first two books in the series first. This book connects with the other one and pulls some things together. I was a little disappointed that we didn't get more Ben in this one, I hope he gets his own book.
