She loves nothing more than spending time with her husband and beautiful daughter, or curling up into the early hours of the morning with a great novel. By day, Lisa works in the analytical IT field, so relishes the opportunity to foster her creative side through writing. Her deep appreciation for literature was nurtured from a young age, being taught to respect books and get lost in their stories. Amazeballs Book Addicts Review:
In the beginning of this book Tara finally decides to leave a bad relationship with Stephen.  She goes to stay with her friend Kelli.  They go to get a makeover from Jason.  After, Jason, Kelli, and Tara go to  a bar called Songbirds.  Jason know the owner Marcus and Tara gets a job there.  We are also introduced  to Jay, who is an old friend of Tara's.  Jay's band plays at Songbirds.   Jay's band mate is Cole.  Tara and Kelli know Cole from the gym, they have nicknamed Mr. Hotbod.
Cooper and Riley are in the Australian Military Special Forces.  Cooper brings Riley with him when he goes to visit Kelli.  Riley and Tara instantly have a connection,which is good because he has to leave shortly after they meet.  Riley and Tara have a rocky relationship, mostly because he has to leave for the military often. 
I really liked this book.  The character development was great.  I like the way all the characters interacted with each other, it made them seem real.  The story is more about Riley and Tara's relationship but I absolutely loved Cole.  Cole seems to be there a lot to pick up the pieces.   The ending was heartbreaking and I can't wait to read more.
