 About Jessica Ruben:

Jessica Ruben lives and works in New York City, where she spends her days dominating in the court room as an attorney. Come nightfall, she writes romances centering on gorgeous alpha males and the intelligent women who love them.

1. Can you tell us a little about your books? 

I write new adult romance that is fast paced and sexy. My Vincent and Eve series is mafia, 

fighter romance with a Romeo and Juliet twist! It’s dark, gritty, and full of swoon.

Warrior Undone is about a damaged, wounded veteran who finds love. It’s about finding beauty

through darkness.

My newest novel, Light My Fire, surrounds the Albanian Mafia. It’s sexy and exciting!

2. What inspires you to write?

The stories themselves inspire me. They ask to be written, so I do!

3. How many books have you written?Which is your favorite? 

I’ve written five full length novels. My favorite is difficult to say, as each holds a special spot in 

my heart! I would tell readers to begin with Rising, Vincent and Eve Book 1.

4. Do you have a special time to write or how is your day structured?

I work full time as a lawyer in New York City, and I also have three kids! It’s very hectic but I 

squeeze in my writing time during odd hours, lunch, and after kids sleep.

5. Do you have a favorite spot to write?

 I wish I had the luxury of a writing spot! Instead, I make whatever I’ve got work just depending on
where I am.

6. If someone who hasn't read any of you books yet, which one would you suggest they read first? 

I think they should start with Rising, Vincent and Eve Book 1.

7. If you had a superpower, what would it be?

Create more hours in a day!

8. What  writing projects are you currently working on?

I’m writing the second book in Sex. Rock. Mafia. Light my fire is book 1, and this new project 

will be next in series. All books will be able to be read in any order and all will be complete 

standalones.
